Absolutely delightful stay. The property is beautiful. The staff is very nice and super helpful. The happy hour and dinner were wonderful. Time spent at the pool and spa was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.
Lovely property with amazing view. Rooms are elegant and comfortable. Onsite manager was very accommodating with excellent attention to detail. Things feel apart for me with the evening events. Chefs didn't track allergy notifications for me or other guests at the time, and I felt like the owners only invested time in individuals that they could relate to. For the rate, they need to be more equally inclusive.
Wow wow wow!!! The description doesn't do it justice, Nothing less than laying your own eyes on it will do! This place is a locals staycation dream and for me and my partner (first time big Island visitors) it was PARADISE! The wonderful people who run the property do an amazing job of making it an experience to remember. We Enjoyed endless fun on their private trail munched on countless fruits some we've never tried and were cut up and served special for us ❤️❤️❤️❤️. There's so much wildlife to boot and On our very last morning walking back up the trail we got to see DOLPHINS! This place is nothing short of spectacular. Full disclaimer if you don't like the sounds of the jungle don't visit the jungle. Cannot wait to come back they definitely deserve TEN BIG BIG Stars

Beautiful view and property with a nice walk to the rock beach. Room is very nice. Water didn't work for one of the evenings which was unfortunate as the shower and bath were part of why we selected this location. Staff was as quick to fix it as they could... unfortunately running out of water is not an easy fix. I appreciate them responding quickly but not having running water for part of the stay knocks it down a bit.
The property was a small beautiful waterfront hotel. The staff and owner was amazing, and always there to get you what you need. The property is very clean and in a great location!
Highly recommended!!!
Beautiful scenery, friendly staff, small and that makes interaction with other guests guaranteed. We had a lovely time there, would definitely recommend!

We wanted to split up our Big Island stay between the Hilo side and the Kona side. Could not find a better place for Hilo side. Hotel is new, clean and comfortable. Staff is EXCELLENT. Property is small and we got to know staff, owners and guests on a personal basis. Very “homey” feel. Hated to leave but off to Kona!
Gorgeous surroundings and view, gorgeous room, gorgeous seven course dinner that was included. Watched whales spouting from our private balcony and also from the infinity pool. Valerie was an amazing host. We loved everything and we want to come back.
Almost a 10/10
Difficultly with transportation without a car
Dinner at hotel when available was wonderful but otherwise need to be resourceful and comfortable to go with the flow (again without transpiration) as you cannot walk to anything, but also what makes it such a great place. Relaxed within minutes!!
Val is fantastic
Val was the GM there when we stayed and she did a great job with everything. She gave us local recommendations for things to do. The room had a beautiful view of the water. There is a little trail to walk to this secluded beach with breathtaking sunrises. They catered a very nice 7 course meal one night for the guest and it was delightful. It all felt like an upscale bed and breakfast. Great secluded getaway.
Five stars is not enough for this place! It’s more of an experience than a hotel. I’ve never had a more relaxing and enjoyable stay anywhere. Val and her staff were amazing! I can’t wait to go back.
I was blown away by this property! Everything about it made us feel exclusive. We were greeted by Valerie and she escorted us to our room and gave us an overview of the grounds. You are in the middle of paradise, overlooking the ocean. There was a very nice breakfast every morning and we had the most amazing 6 course diner cooked by a private chef!! I had my first beef wellington and baked Alaska and it was to die for. We were about 15 minutes away from Hilo and about 5 minutes away from a cute eating/ shopping strip (btw.... try The Hive & Birria Boss.. you won't be disappointed). Akaka Falls and the Botanical Garden are also about 10 minutes away. This hotel and the special homey/ local feeling of Hilo has us wanting to make this an annual trip! Thank you Valerie for making our stay unforgettable!
The location can not be beaten. The staff is five-star and friendly. We felt like this was our estate and were treated as such. The owner Eric was extremely inviting. condition of this place is 5-star. My wife and I will definitely be back.
I’ve been to many hotels around the world for many reasons. I was blown away at this place I found purely out of luck. The owner, the manager, the amazing staff from activities to breakfasts to special dinner.
I have only one regret. That I didn’t spend my entire stay on big island here.
But next time I will.
Thank you!
