Your dock with over-the-water hammock, swings, and seating is perfect for soaking up the sun, sun sets, fishing, manatee sightings, or cocktails.

Your 3 bedroom, two bath rental is beach level and boasts a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and a huge great room area for entertaining or relaxing. The great room also has a comfortable pullout queen size bed. It is equipped with everything you need for your vacation. Regular beach raking and housekeeping assure you can relax and enjoy your stay. We can even arrange a private cook to prepare your arrival dinner and serve you at your beach bar.

The Great Room has a huge mahogany dining room table, two tables for desk or board games, two comfy sofas and chairs for relaxing after a hard day at the beach or exploring. A large smart TV with IPTV with over 8000 channels includes many of your favorites from The States, Canada, and Mexico for all your favorite shows and sporting events. Netflix and other logins are provided as well for additional entertainment.

Open the door and step onto the beach. The property is landscaped with indigenous flora and fauna.

Enjoy your own private thatched beach bar with everything you need to have a great time and is a great spot out of the sun. With seating for fourteen, itā€™s a perfect place to party or enjoy your meals on the beach. Your private bar features a refrigerator/freezer, sink with filtered water, a fully functional bar. Nice speakers and a blue-tooth amp as well as an IPTV provide entertainment for the entire family.

Amazing place

Mark and Sabrina were fantastic hosts. Such a great property. Everything was as expected from the pictures and description on the website. Would love to stay there again.They have a lot of connections and ways to set up excursions which makes it super easy. Love the beach and Tiki bar.

We had an amazing time at the Villa Rising Sun! There were 7 of us staying. The Villa is clean, spacious and comfortable. Mark, Sabrina, Dean and Blaine were all terrifically kind, helpful and hospitable. They helped us organize the best adventures and food, including flagging down the local bread and veggie vendors and arranging delivery of a fabulous birthday cake. We all really loved swimming at the dock and hanging out at the beach bar. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Villa crew!

My family decided on Belize for our vacation and we wanted to pick something epic as our oldest daughter was about to go away to college in the fall. Villa Rising Sun was AMAZING and Dean did an spectacula job ensuring that our time in Belize was as special as possible. Mark and Sabrina were also great as they went shopping for us ahead of time and were checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We booked almost everything that we could from a service and adventure perspective and took the recommendations of locals and the hosts. Shelley came into the villa and cooked for us 3 different nights and her food was amazing and she was born to cook :-) We also booked a golf cart for the week which I highly recommend because the stores and restaurants in town are great. We recommend Driftwood, Nice Cream, and the Italian place (name?) as they all had great food and service (be patient as food comes out on its own time). With regard to adventures we highly recommend the cook your catch and the waterfall adventure. Cook your catch was our favorite and we tried to book it a second time because we had so much fun. The coral reef on cook your catch and Bread and Butter Island were the highlights of the trip. We also did the monkey tour which was cool as we saw monkeys, crocodiles, and lots of other wildlife. In short, all of the services and adventures were fantastic! I am out of characters- so in summary, the dock, outside bar, and hosts at villa made the trip :-)

Simply Amazing

Our week stay at Villa Rising Sun was perfect for our family of five. Our two kids shared a room and my sister had her own room set off towards the back of the house. The Villa Rising Sun team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The home and grounds were clean and well cared for. I loved that cleaners were brought in midway through our week stay. An itinerary with our planned excursions and meal suggestions was provided by the management team. This along with the Villa Rising Sun guest website recommendations made it easier to choose restaurants and activities. We enjoyed most of our time outside at the bar watching the kids play in the ocean. The bar is equipped with an ice maker, wash sink, Bluetooth speaker system, and more. We enjoyed watching the marine life, including two manatees, off the well lite dock at night. We let the management team know what type of excursions we were looking at and they helped us coordinate them. It was so nice to be picked up and dropped off at the Villa for both of our excursions. The golf cart we rented for a day was also dropped to our door and pick up the next day. We look forward to returning one day!

Our days at Villa Rising Sun were truly restful, magical and fun. Mark, Sabrina and Dean made themselves available to answer questions, make suggestions and provide information about the community, sharing their passion and love for their adopted home. The accommodations are spacious and clean with plenty of room for large groups (our party of six consisted of one couple, two mothers/mothers-in-laws, and two friends), with ample space for a variety of interests and activities. The Caribbean Sea is in the backyard, offering around-the-clock access to swimming, floating, or just listening to the waves wash ashore. We all hope to return very soon and will recommend VRS to our families and friends.

Great Stay!

We were a very last minute booking and Mark, Sabrina and Dean bent over backwards to make our stay easy, fun and comfortable. They are around when you need them but not at all overbearing. The house is super clean and comfortable with everything you need and more. We rented golf carts (arranged by dean and delivered within minutes) and it was so fun to cruise around. All of the tours they arranged were fabulous. Hopkins and Sitter River are so great. Weā€™ll be back!

Just as perfect the second time around

I think that the most reliable recommendation of a property is a return visit. After staying at Villa Rising Sun in 2021, we did not bother looking at other properties when booking our stay in Hopkins in 2024 -- it was just as perfect the second time around. There is no room for improvement -- the interior of the property is amazing, the outdoor tiki bar and beach area is a spectacular space for partying, relaxing, and enjoying the beach and the views. The hosts are wonderful -- they go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect. Perfect suggestions for excursions and dining. Can't say enough good things about Villa Rising Sun -- except that we will book it again when we return to Hopkins.

Don't look further, book this location before someone else does

This is an incredibly spacious location, directly on the beach, full of extra amenities. Our family of five stayed and thoroughly enjoyed Villa Rising Sun. Outdoors you're directly on the beach. The family enjoyed the swinging and fishing on the dock. You can wade into the water for a good distance and there is marine life to enjoy snorkeling. The outdoor bar location is a unique feature which we used consistently whether it be for socializing, outdoor eating, a quick drink or shade. They also provide beach loungers, chairs and towels for your use. Inside you have a kitchen which is fully stocked with every cooking or baking need you might have. There is also a barbecue available to grill any fresh catch. The bedrooms are spacious with loads of drawer and closet space. Bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries and extra towels. The team managing Villa Rising Sun is phenomenal. Communication occurs early as they proactively reach out to help you plan your trip - excursions, transportation, food, etc. This communication also includes a letter of information to know about Hopkins, weather, packing recommendations. I found this extremely helpful. They remain in constant communication throughout your stay ensuring you have everything you need or to provide any recommendations if you ask. This villa is a gem. We absolutely plan to return and stay here again.

Wonderful Vacation

Villa Rising Sun was a beautiful beachside vacation spot for our family (three teenage boys and a girlfriend) Communication by the the owners, Mark and Sabrina, and property manager, Dean was nothing less than excellent. Since nobody stayed at the property on the previous day, they contacted us to invite us for an early check-in. They all greeted us warmly upon our arrival, with help with our luggage and a tour of the beautiful property. They were all extremely attentive to any need that arose, without being at all intrusive. Dean provided excellent concierge services, not only with excursions, but also with any local restaurant recommendations. The excursions (zip line, rafting, and fishing) and services (spa and chef) that they recommended were all terrific! Overall, it was an amazing stay and we hope to return again soon!

Beautiful paradise in Hopkins, Belize

Wow! If my 13 year old and 16 year old loved it, then itā€™s really a great place as they can be hard to impress. Nonetheless, we all had a wonderful time at Mark and Sabrinaā€™s property. They literally thought of everything and their property is well appointed. From the amazing private beach in the backyard, to the dock, to the spacious layout of the home, and the AMAZING excursions we can not thank them enough for providing such a wonderful and well needed vacation from all the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed the snorkeling/catch and cook tour with Meds and Jeff and the cave tubing adventure. Meds caught us a lobster and we saw multiple nurse sharks and stingrays. Book the catch and cook tour you wonā€™t regret it! Dean was amazing as well, always available to us and answered all our questions. You guys really delivered! Hopkins Village was nice, everybody we met was very friendly and accommodating. All the tour guides were excellent. Really canā€™t thank everybody and the country of Belize for providing a wonderful vacation for our family. Lots of fun memories were created - weā€™ll be back! The tiki bar was really cool and relaxing, we spent a lot of time out there. Again, 10/10 stars book this place!!!

On The Beach

We had a fantastic stay at the Villa which had every accommodation we could think of. Thanks to Mark, Sabrina and Dean for all the hospitality. We really felt like we were part of the local community and and all of us had a wonderful time. We will definitely book another trip to the Villa soon! Dave & Dee

Simply Amazing

This property is perfect in every way. The location is ideal. The 3BR are great for a family or group of friends. The tiki bar - we'll be talking about the tiki bar for a LONG TIME. It has everything you need and the attention to detail is impressive. Come ready to unleash your inner-Caribbean Resort Bartender. The hosts are tremendous, handling everything from dinner reservations to excursion bookings. It was like have a personal concierge - you should definitely take advantage of the services offered. There's nothing like getting picked up and dropped off at your place for excursions. We could go on forever, but instead I will echo another review: If this is available for the dates you want to come to Belize, just book it.

Reeds in Hopkins Belize!

Great 3 brm, 2 bath, nice beach and dock, with a great personal tiki bar and sound system! Owners and managers are great people. Ask for Shelly to do your cooking. Her food is amazing!

Gorgeous, Relaxing, Peaceful Stay

We sought a location to relax and reconnect as family and Villa Rising Sun providedus with the perfect location to enjoy the beauty of the local environment and and reconnect with the beauty of eachother as family. From adventure tours to relaxing in the sun to swinging on the dock to swimming in the water the stay felt magical. We also loved experiencing the village of Hopkins and enjoyed Mass at Holy Family down the road on Sunday and enjoyed bonding with our tour driver Dirk. Seeing the beauty of the coral and fish and sealife felt expansive. Who knew that this vibrant world underwater could provide such enjoyment and peace. We are grateful for our time. Villa Rising Sun hosts were incredibly helpful all along the way. We feel deep gratitude for the excellent communication and help navigating Hopkins and other experiences in Belize. We do hope to return in the future and highly recommend this location.
