I booked and paid room at this hotel for 3 nights. Upon arrival, I was told they don’t have a room for me. They said the hotel was overbooked and I need to find somewhere else to stay for the first night. They would have my room for the next 2 nights. During my next 2 nights stay, the pool area was dirty and water was icy cold. We called housekeeping to request additional towels and blankets. That never came. We had to went down the receptionist to ask for them. Breakfast area was dirty and food was cold. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience

NEVER AGAIN!

The worst customer service ever experienced. This hotel does not honor reservations made through third parties leaving my family of 5 without a room. Our double room was given away before we arrived. We were given a king room and told to have one of our children sleep on the floor. This room did not have bedding for the sofa bed and took over an hour to get bedding. We were told this night would be comped and it was not. The breakfast buffet is poor at best. The food is never refilled in the morning resulting in my family missing breakfast. This hotel needs some upgrades. The headboards are missing vinyl and the lamps are damaged. There was no toilet paper in the women's bathroom downstairs the entire stay. The bartender was the only bright spot in our stay at this Embassy Suites. We only stay at Embassy Suites so this whole experience was a disappointment. Matthew at the front desk was a total jerk. He refused to let us speak to a manager. Their front desk is understaffed greatly. We weren't the only guests without a room either.

The hotel experience was medium, one of the reason for the bad review its the towel were dirty, the checking was too slow only one clerk at the front desk, and then the keys were not working properly, in total the hotel needs a make up

We checked in at 4:30pm and they said our room was not ready. We came back after 7 and then they said the room we had booked was unavailable and that they only had one bed and a pull out couch bed available. The breakfast was good but other than that the pool was freezing definitely not heated.

I remember staying at Embassy Suites on family vacations when I was younger. It was a treat for us to stay at an Embassy. The breakfasts, back then, were amazing. Buffet style, fresh fruit and veggies, delicious food. Returning now, the hotel looks the same as back in the 90s when I traveled as a kid. The hotel has not gone through much updating. The breakfast had also changed. Yes, they still had an omelette station but the rest of the breakfast area looked like a La Quinta continental breakfast.

Beware! They have a continuous problem with people breaking into cars at this property. We recently stayed here with our friends and unfortunately their car got broken into. The staff also denied that this happens routinely and even lied about it. Turns out this also happened to another couple 2 days prior. Although they have a security guard it was mentioned his hours were recently cut. This provided an inconvenience getting the car fixed and the window was not paid for by the hotel being it is an insecure lot. We were impressed how the manager dealt with it, but in general this property needs a total makeover. The rooms are really run down with head boards scratched, rust in the showers and doors chipped. In addition we found a used condom by the elevators which were broken more than once during our stay. I typically don’t write reviews but this a bad experience overall. The location is amazing being next to the galleria and with a secure parking lot or paid security guard and some updates could be better.
