I love that it was clean an especially safe in the parking lot security guard was overlooking the parking lot and it gave me a sense of security and the staff was very friendly rooms were very clean as well definitely will recommend to family and friends 🙌

The staff was nice however the rooms are extremely outdated and damaged. I usually don’t complain, but when we attempted to turn the AC on, it was only blowing air but no cold air. I called the front desk and was told the AC units are off in the entire building because it’s no longer summer. I was shocked at the reply, as we are in Houston TX and weather is unpredictable. I was offered to move to another room with a balcony and leave the door open. I denied the offer due to having small children and putting them at risk of mosquito bites. Will not be staying here again.

So I booked my hotel stay months in advance only to get spam messaged the week before that there was an electrical issue and I was being moved to the “sister hotel” at the Wingate… I paid for a suite and got a lousy double bed room without a refrigerator. The halls were dirty, the pool was unusable, and the elevators smelled atrocious and made weird, unsettling noises. It really looked like a hotel that hadn’t been cared for in years.

The power was out and we had to stay at sister property the Wingate. The rooms were old and not fully cleaned. There was just in the back of the toilet seat. The rooms smelled old and damp.
