While the outward appearance of the hotel was old ( it is) the room was fine other than the tub area showed its age and the windows really needed to be replaced as you could hardly see out. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed.

This hotel has easy access to the walking path that leads to the falls and Friendship Gardens. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Ask for a river view when booking. Customer service during check in could have been better but overall, I would stay here again.

Great place to stay

Reception was really good. We reserved two rooms and without asking when we checked in, the front desk attendant noticed we weren't close and made the change. Directed us to a nice restaurant, and answered every question we had with a smile. Rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast had vouchers and was made to order. Easy on and off the highway

Very dated property. The room looked ok at first but closer inspection found poir housekeeping and maintenance. The bed was sitting half way iff the frame we tried to put it on correctly but needed help. Fortunately the night desk clerk was willing to make it happen. That is when we found that the space under the bed had not been cleaned in quite some time. Many of the building entry doors are broken although the important ones still lock. The morning breakfast was good we arrived 20 minutes before the end and not much was left. We were able to get reasonable servings. They later came and asked if we wanted any more before the took down the buffet. In fairness they were more concerned about getting the Sunday Brunch set up for Mothers day. Will reconsider if it was worth the value. It should have been a deluxe room butI don't think it was worth the extra.

There was a a line to get checked in. When we finally did it was so cold in the room that we had to get our jackets. The room seems clean enough but the hotel is in disrepair. When we went to turn on the tv the remote was covered with something sticky. It was disgusting.

Power went out for almost 10 hours and all the staff was mysteriously gone during this time so no updates were provided and nobody present to even answer a question. Dead roach on the entranceway floor all five days that was never disposed of.

Location, location, location. Always book a view if the river. You are right on top of the river walk. We stayed in early May and had non stop entertainment from all the baby ducks and goslings. A short walk from Idaho Falls. Food was goo in the restaurant

I selected this hotel through Expedia requesting pet friendly. Made the reservation 2 weeks in advance & said I had a cat. When I got to the hotel was told pet friendly only applied to dogs. So look elsewhere if your traveling pet isn't a dog.

Our room was large and comfortable. And clean. No problems there. The rest of the property was old and run down. Th hallways smelled and carpets were dirty. The lobby had a faint propane smell the windows were dirty. It's obvious no maintenance has been done in a long time. The breakfast was basic and the hot foods were cold. It's too bad, this used to be a nice place to stay.
