We enjoyed our stay very much, beautiful area and surroundings. We stayed in #61, small and very basic amenities. The bathroom only fits one person at a time, including the shower. Don't leave food on the counter, the ants may enjoy your goodies before you. Located near the road, not too loud and you have your own personal parking space in front. We did enjoy having the pool close by, that's was nice. More lounging chairs is my recommendation, there were people grabbing a table and a lounge chairs. The Peak restaurant was nothing fancy, more like a diner feel with good food and drinks selections. Overall the stay was pleasant and very relaxing. Beautiful place to stay for a long getaway, it truly has everything! If we return we will inquire about other rooms that would have tailored our needs better.

Property was beautiful and well maintained. cottages were clean, well supplied and comfortable. pool, game room and other amenities were superlative. Only negative was door access systems failed six times over two days. Staff attempted to correct problem but it was still failed when we left.

It would be amazing in the future if their restaurant accommodated breakfast or had some kind of continental breakfast or good coffee. The coffee in the rooms was not good. The property is beautiful and well kept. Great staff! The only complaint would be that the porch light shined through the door brightly at night making it difficult to sleep. They could also use some shelving in the bathroom.

FIVE STAR STAY

We had a wonderful stay the Tahquitz Pines Retreat is clean and new, the grounds are all very clean, the room was nice and clean, the staff was all very nice. The bartender was excellent. Hats off to him. We also used the basketball court which was great, although they need to get a new ball. We will be back!

No brainer

Best place in idywild/. Every amenty! Towels were basic but ask for more or a pool towel. Coffee in room just ok. Thats it! Honest reveiw and great place to stay! Will be back! Priced little higher but worth it !

Pros: Check in was easy. Our cabin was simple and clean. Functional but nothing fancy. The grounds are nice and I am sure that is what appeals to most people. The bunk bed mattresses at our small cabin (Cabin 17) and the bunk bed at my sister's family cabin (Large Cabin 64) had mattresses where your could clearly feel the springs. We did not use them and my daughter ended up sharing my King sized bed with me. My sister slept on the couch the second night on the couch. This made booking a room with bunkbeds pretty useless. There is zero way you cannot see that these mattresses need to be changed. Our mattress, by comparison, was soft and squishy. The morning of our departure I was woken up at 7:30 am by two women that were sitting on our porch talking. They had put a sticker on the door of our cabin for another group. It was not cool and if the management encourages big groups to do things like that, its bad customer service. When I asked if I could help them, they said "Oh we are staying here at 3pm," It was 7:30 am.
