This is such a wonderful find in the mountains of Idyllwild. This is a newer property and it’s really off to a great start. The cabins, grounds are marvelous and the real win here is the staff. They were exceptionally welcoming when we arrived and made sure that we had all that we needed.
As we showed up an hour after the normal check in, they were in the process of making sure that we were okay and still on the way, knowing that the roads were wet and icy. That is a little thing that really makes you feel welcome.
As for the property itself, it’s remarkably clean and well mapped out. The paths are wide enough for cars to navigate with people and dogs walking around. Each area is well light but not obtrusive. You feel safe and the grading of the roads is easy even given the altitude differences from entry to the Tranquility area.
The grounds were certainly planned out to allow for peace and quiet while still being part of the whole.
We stayed in a King Cabin and this is wonderful for a couple to a family of 5. There’s a King with a Queen sofa bed. The high ceilings of the help circulate air quickly.
Having the back patio is great as you can see and hear the creek below and are removed from neighbors’ eye lines.
There are things that can be improved: the entry way should have a mat inside to dry your shoes to not track moisture inside, there could be a cover placed above the slotted wood above the door in the front, the bathroom sink seems high and
