We had booked a king bed but we got two singles. Then we were put on a floor where construction weas going on that did not stop until 530pm. Parking was also difficult due to construction and your car had to be out by a certain time.

it was a nice clean hotel great staff great meals i had booked a room with breakfast for two nights which was payed just like the evening meals we had each night which was payed after we ate on checking out the gentleman with the long hair on reception said we had the breakfasts to pay for which was payed i told him it was payed but he said it wasnt i didnt have my phone to show this and the manager said just wave it i told them there is nothing to wave its already pre payed so watch out if they try it on this spoiled two great days in this lovely hotel wont be back unless they appoligse which i doubt

We were greeted by friendly helpful staff at reception on our arrival. The small bags of lavender at the lift entrance were a lovely touch. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and I slept like a log. There was a good selection for breakfast. Parking was £10, but we ended up in the car park over the road (also £10) as the hotel car park was full. We would stay here again.

Room was well appointed and sufficient size. All wooden floors which I guess are more practical but cold at this time of year in particular. Breakfast was pretty good but buffet style meant the food was generally only luke warm and with the dining area very large and open the food cooled down even faster.

Let down by housekeeping. Wanted our room serviced each day but arrived back with bed not made, cups and glassed dirty. Foreign lady came to clean our room whilst we were in it. Could not speak English. Asked her to make the bed but she just went out and came back with a mop and mopped a tiny bit of the room and left. Great local girl came in next day and did a proper linen change.
