The personnel was very nice and corteous. The hotel was basic, but decent. The location is excellent. However, I found traces of bed bugs in my room (the black spots around the mattress rims plus some small debris that are usually shells they leave when they grow); I notified the hotel and asked for room change. The owner/manager and assistant did a room change without a problem, but they totally dismissed my concerns after a quick inspection on the room where they did not find the live animals. They are probably unaware that live animals hide on daylight and are hard to find, and the small remains (shells) and bed bug pooh should be enough to establish there are some bed bugs around. So there was a climate of denial; maybe their concern was if I were to ask for a refund, so tried to deny. But I am concerned it was a legitimate denial, which means they will not spray the room or follow up on inspections, until the infestation is so noticeable that one can find loads of live animals roaming in daylight, in a month or two. If the had shown some signs of concern and intention to follow up with professional inspection, I would be less concerned, since this is a known problem afflicting many hotels, but they dismissed me.

Great super clean nice hotel. Not a single problem, in a busy vibrant area....... but strangely (great) quiet. Everyone helpful, nice staff, clean rooms, great location........ all good. No complaints whatsoever

The property is in a lively area of town with many coffee bars and cafes, it is easy to catch local buses and taxi from just a minutes walk. Not a quite place but you can expect this as the area is busy. The rooms are compact but clean and the service is excellent. The staff go that extra distance to ensure your stay is relaxing and all the staff are excellent. I would got again to this hotel.

The staff was amazing all the way around. It is an inexpensive place so it isn't the best amenities, but very center and walkable. Small rooms and small showers but you are getting what you pay for. Great stay all around.

Breakfast was so bad, they give only a plate with some pices of cheeses, one egg and some tomato and cucumber and bread, when I asked for more bread they said we charge for it... same shift every day, air conditioning makes a lots of noise one night then couldn't sleep, room service was very poor. Location was ok but very noisy and busy which we were ok with that. Overall not recommend

Nice Comfortable stay

This is more like a 3 star hotel. The location is right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Besiktas amidst losts of restaurants and shops. I asked for a quiet room and got a very quiet room towards the back hence the view wasnt great but my priorty was a quiet room. The room was clean enougfh but the hallways looked not vaccummed for days. One of the managers speaks excellent english and is extremely friendly jolly and helpful. I would have stayed longer but they were fully booked. I only had breakfast one day and was decent with juice/water and hot drinks provided. 2 bottles of water were supplied and the room had a fridge. service was good and prompt. Bed was comfortable and super soft bouncy pillows with good aircon. Kettle in room but no coffee/tea provided. 10-15 mins walk from the Dolmabache Palace and good links to the bus and tram nearby. Only thing was all the 3 bottels of toiletries in the bathroom were Shampoo - should be mix of shower gel and other stuff.

Hotel Transfer

The hotel offered me a hotel transfer to the airport (sebiha airport) and I paid 220 tl for that. The driver left me in the street where was 10km distance to the airport and tild me yoy should take a taxi from here! Actually she left me outside the city that I do not know anything about its streets and told me go and take a taxi! And I had to take a taxi after some walking in that hot weather and paid 30tl again for that!! It was really awfull!

My room window was facing a brick wall and the fire stairs was right next to the window. I could touch it when i opened the window. People sat there and smoked. So it made the room smell like a ashtray
