Beautiful hotel with a lovely staff. Location is just a short block away from the square where the Blue mosque and the Sophia Hagai is located. Beautiful rooftop restaurant with delicious food.and an amazing view. Shops and restaurants are everywhere in this location. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is right in the middle of all the major sites. Close to transit so you can get anywhere in the city from there as well. No complaints at all. Great Turkish breakfast and amazing views on the rooftop lounge.

The Magnura Palace Hotel - a great place to stay.

The Magnaura Palace Hotel is ideally placed in Sultanamet and an easy walk of the main attractions - the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sohia. The room had amazing views of the Bosphorous and its constant shipping traffic. The staff at the hotel were wonderful - all spoke great English and were helpful at all times. The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. Perhaps the only criticism was of the hot water - the heat tended to diminish as the day wore on making an evening shower somewhat an in/out experience. Breakfast was good with a range of products one would expect to find. We did not dine in so are unable to comment. Overall, we have no hezitation in recommending the Magnura Palace as a great place to stay.

We spent a few days in Istanbul and couldn’t have asked for a better location right in the middle of all the major sites. Close walking distance to transit. Beds were comfortable rooms were spacious. Rooftop restaurant view is pretty incredible and the breakfast was delicious.

Can't beat the location, near all the old city attractions, surrounded by great restaurants, even if they look touristy. The terrace restaurant has amazing views. Helpful staff, convenient shuttle to the airport for 50 euro. A little porous for sound, but on a quiet street for the most part.

Everything was excellent except that you could hear next door or upper floor people talking. The rooftop view was wonderful with the Blue in the back. We really appreciate the house keeping work; the bed was decorated so nice one day.

Loved everything about this hotel. It’s an amazing location for seeing the sights, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are all really helpful and very friendly. The rooftop terrace is lovely and the views from the breakfast room are fabulous, Blue Mosque in one direction, Hagia Sophia in the other and the water from the front. The breakfast itself was wonderful, so much choice and all so fresh. Loved it. The same room is the restaurant/ bar on an evening. The food is great and again the service is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was greeted with a genuine smile and helpful attitude. What stood out to me was the level of service. Every staff member I encountered was professional, courteous, and genuinely eager to help. Customer satisfaction is a top priority here. We had a great stay at the Magnaura Palace. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and trips were booked with ease through reception. They handled our transport to and from the airport without any fuss. The restaurant was full of friendly staff and the food was really good. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety and again, nothing too much for the staff. A really good location for visiting local attractions and seeing Istanbul. A really enjoyable stay. The location is the excellent and the best feature of the hotel. You are steps from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi and the Grand Bazzar. You can see the Bosphorus from the rooms and get a full view of it from the breakfast room. Rooms and amenities are standard, but the location is great.

Second Stay

We stayed here 5 1/2 years ago. We enjoyed our stay so we rebooked it for this trip. If anything, it has even gotten better. The staff is quite anxious to please. The hotel has been maintained well plus they’ve added a deck on top with some fantastic views of the area. The location of this hotel could not be any better for seeing sites of the old city. I highly recommend it. Fantastic staff from the front desk, to the Bellman, to the cleaning crew.

It is close to all the important spots and also near a great Turkish Bath which has been operating for over 500 years. The mosques are nearby, and the Grand Bazaar and the Catles are all within walking distance. It is a very safe area at night to walk around in, and it has lots of good dining choices.
