Accommodation in Ivy

I chose this accommodation for it’s convenient location south of pebbles beach and Carlisle bay. The hotel’s beach was very relaxing with plenty of chairs and spacious pools. Just not so great service from the bartender at the pool bar. There were decent breakfast options from the buffet and it was nice to sit by the water and eat. The lobby and communal spaces were great, but my personal room had lots of wear and tear (I.e paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling). Overall, the hotel is “fine”, but with some upgrades and renovations to the individual rooms the experience could be “great”

Loved being on the Cliffs!

The rooms were cleaned twice per week; I would recommend to do this every other day. Even twice per week, they forget to clean the floors. They also forget to regularly fill up amenities such as coffee, milk, soap, shampoo. For me this was the 1st time to encounter a hotel that it was challenging to get enough shampoo. The beach is close by, however can be rough and difficult to swim in. The breakfast options where limited a la carte; 50% was not available. If want a perfect experience in barbados suggest to seek a hotel more north from this location.
