The pool and rooms were beautiful and well kept. Unfortunately the service was terrible amd the food at the restaurants were not good. The lady at the front desk is extrodinarly rude. Actually the first unpleasant person we have encountered in all of Costa Rica... unfortunately had to deal with her several times and each time should stood chatting with the other ladies while we stood there waiting, then each time while dealing with us would pick uo the phone to make a call while we had to wait for a receipt or whatever we were asking for... then was very short with us and rude giving us what we asked for including just asking where things were... I definitely wouldn't go back just to not have to interact with that unpleasant woman!!! We also tried a few items at a couple of the restaurants it very bland, overcooked and oddly presented. Also the restaurants must have cleared all their reviews to remove rhe negative ones as the now only have a few reviews for them...

Amazing stay at Croc's!!! Staff were very helpful and kind. The room had a beautiful view and amazing smell upon entry. The amenities were great, from the pool service to the restaurants on site. The pool was also very spacious. The Casino and $2 margaritas were a plus!!!

I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the resort. The property is clean, modern, and visually appealing. Staff members were very friendly and professional throughout my stay. I loved that room service came every day and cleaned thoroughly, which made the experience feel comfortable and well-maintained. I also appreciated that from the pool area, you can walk straight onto Jaco Beach. Very convenient! It was a nice touch that I mentioned it was my birthday and upon checking into my room, there was a piece of cake waiting for me, and wine! However, here are some downsides: The breakfast on the second floor switches to a buffet at a set price because of the number of guests in the hotel. I was told this directly by staff. I didn’t love that change, especially since the buffet food quality did not match the price. My daughter only wanted pancakes and eggs, and the pancakes came out cold and the eggs were watery with milk still coming out. Shoutout to Vanessa, who did accommodate us and only charged for what my daughter actually ate the two days following, (french toast and plantains). Her customer service was appreciated! We literally went to town to eat every day because of the food. The slot machines in the casino only accept Costa Rican currency, which would’ve been nice to know in advance. Food and drinks are NOT all-inclusive !!

The Michigan owned property was one of the best resorts that I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Its location was stunning not to mention the staffs commitment to seeing to its success.
