Host had decorated with Autumn theme and provided fresh flowers. We loved it, plenty of room and a gorgeous back yard. Beds were very comfortable, extra blankets provided for chilly nights. Will definitely rent this place again.

Tremendous Stay

The property was everything we expected. Clean, spacious, with all of the trimmings and utensils needed. The grounds (yards) were well kept, and in a very quiet neighborhood. It was great!!!

Great location, but shabby

We rented for a week for left two days early. We chose this house because of the backyard- we wanted our two cairns to have spaces to explore and to sit out and enjoy the time with them. However, the backyard was all dirt and mosquitoes an not very enjoyable. In addition, the house was just not well kept- dirty bedspread, unusable cooking pans, dirty stove,. We tried to vacuum, because of the dirt coming in from the backyard... but the vacuum's wheels were broken. And finally, it was next to impossible to get food delivered to the house. It would be a great house for a big family- but for the cost I'd go to a hotel.

Memorial Day Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at the Pelican House, and we loved the backyard and the interesting layout. Our only suggestion would be to make some updates to the living room furniture, gas grill, and coffee maker. Overall it was a good experience.
