Brilliant hotel close to the airport

Pros: Room Garden setting Staff Food
Location: The beach is only a 2 minute walk away but the day we visited it was very dirty and not appealing.
We were very happy with our 1 night stay at The Open House. We chose to stay here as we arrived late at night and didn't want to travel far. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport which was great, considering the chaos when you step out of Denpasar airport! All the hotel staff were lovely and spoke very good English. The rooms overlook the pool but are still very private. It was comfortable with both ceiling fan and air con and all the amenities we needed. The garden and hotel surrounds are lush and well maintained. The food (we had breakfast and lunch, both western and Indonesian options) were all delicious and some of the best food we had during our week in Bali. I had a wonderful massage at the in-hotel spa. If the nearby beach was cleaner, we would've stayed longer.

Pros: Modern, tidy, relaxed, small, convenient to the beach
Cons: A spa would be nice and more privacy at the beauty salon.
Location: Quiet so not much variety for walking distance restaurants except for seafood grills and five star resorts
Relaxing great location to Jimbaran. Clean comfortable modern rooms. Fab pool and massage, good brekky and good meals available.

Perfect little hide away

My stay at Open House was perfect even though it was short. I arrived late at around 10:30pm and was greeted by reception and given a welcome drink whilst they organized my check-in. Once I arrived at my room, my welcome fruit platter arrived even though it was so late in the evening! The next day I had breakfast over looking the pool which was delish and wandered down to Jimbaran beach. Open House is literally a minute walk from the beach and laying by the pool upon my return, was bliss. Due to it being a small boutique hotel, made for a lovely calming day and overall stay. The staff were friendly and the rooms were divine, waking up to the sun rising and light streaming through the windows (room was on level one). I would definitely go there again and recommend it to my family and friends.
