House was almost perfect for our needs and only had a couple of maintenance issues which I told the host about. Second and third bathrooms are very small and may be hard for someone with mobility issues to navigate. It would be nice if the blinds in the large bath be replaced with something with more privacy - there was too much of a gap with them, and since they are at ground level, someone could easily see in. Despite that, we have re-booked for Christmas when we will be back in Johnson City again. It's a great location that's convenient to downtown, Freedom Hall, the mall, and grocery stores.

Clean and spacious and located close to downtown. Front porch with view of Buffalo Mountain was nice. Only negative was that traffic on South Roan can be a little loud at times.

Nice older home near downtown, Freedom Hall, and some restaurants to walk to. Nice view of the mountains from the front porch. Very roomy, clean, and well equipped. Would stay here again!

Lovely old house

We visited for a family wedding and it was nice to stay in one house. Beds were comfortable, furnishings and decorations were charming. Bathrooms are quite small, other than the main one, and electrical outlets need to be updated. Water tastes terrible, so a filter or pitcher in fridge would be recommended; we ended up buying a few gallons of water.

Beds are Awful

The place was very cute and well decorated. Plenty of supplies, clean. The beds, however, were the worst beds we have ever slept on. Firm is one thing, these were outright hard. We were told the twin beds were fine, but the king we slept in and the queen our friends had were too hard to be able to sleep much.

Great stay!

There were a few minor things we did not like, but overall it was a great stay! The property was clean and very nice! The beds were not soft at all, so just keep that in mind. The bathrooms were all pretty small too. Plenty of space otherwise! Parts of the near by neighborhood are kind of shady but not bad. There is also lots of traffic at all hours, but it didn't keep us awake. We loved it, our toddler loved it, and we had a great time!

After leaving

The day we left was fine until a couple hours later I checked my email and the host was trying to charge me 500 for some damage to a table. We never used that table and didn’t damage it. Overall the place was very clean and very nice. I’d suggest if you stay here to make sure you record everything when you first get there.

Christmas 2024 in Johnson City

We traveled to Johnson City from Savannah Georgia to celebrate Christmas. The home was exactly as described and was decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. I was easily able to entertain a family of five for the holidays. We would definitely stay again. Cheers!

Family Thanksgiving

3 nights to celebrate Thanksgiving with family who reside in Johnson City. The house is wonderful and very clean and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Only concern is that it’s located on the corner of a busy street, which I didn’t realize when booking. Other than the expected traffic noise, it was very quiet. Would stay here again.

Very clean, perfect for family gathering. Nice having Sun room...perfect for an extra bedroom...Sunroom bathroom was a little tight.
