Inside, the retro charm continues—think original 70s lounge suite, a classic Formica table, and a sunlit living space that feels like it’s been lifted straight from family holidays of decades past.

The retro lounge invites you to sink in, play a board game, or simply listen to the soft hum of the ocean. Every corner whispers stories of sandy feet, big feeds, and late-night yarns.

Out front, a large entertainment deck opens to one of the best views in Ahipara. From here, you can watch the constant stream of beach-bound adventurers cruising onto 90 Mile Beach—along with the inevitable few who get themselves hilariously stuck (the unofficial local sport). Fabulous experience staying so close to the ocean. Such a friendly welcoming place - we relaxed, enjoyed fish & chips one evening & cooked on the bbq the other. We had everything we needed.
