Don't count on the pool or hot tub.... We had to stay unexpectedly in Kamloops overnight. The silver lining was the pool for thr kids and the hot tub for me. After dinner I got the kids ready and we went down to swim. The door was open so we went in and turned on the light. The hot tub was empty! Despite my disappointment I went to the front desk and requested pool towels. She gave me regular room towels so i took those. The kids went to get in and quickly realized it was ice cold. My kids swim in cool water often but this was completely unheated.
