The area of the hotel was very sketchy. The hotel is going through a giant remodel so all the outside doors were not locked and anyone could get in. The room was clean and I am glad it didn't smell bad in the room like it did outside. I really don't know how this hotel had such great ratings. Maybe it will be better once all the rooms are fixed up.

There was not a hair dryer in the room, which would have been a plus. Breakfast buffet has several choices including waffle makers. The rooms are small, but clean and the staff is pretty kind and friendly.

Room was clean, however, the area is more than sketchy and the hotel is nothing but a truckers hotel. But for the price, it’s what was expected.

The property isn't really what it appears to be online. It's in the manufacturing district, so there's really not a whole lot near it. Also, there's trains that run nightly and they all you know that they're running. It makes it hard to sleep through the night. The staff was friendly and helpful, but next time I'm in KC, I'd look for somewhere else.

What a bad experience. The place was a dump and the staff was like something out of a bad movie. We had a change in plans that forced us to find a hotel last minute during a busy big city weekend. Unfortunately this was the only option. Everything from foul smells, stained and dirty sheets, and a staff that seemed like they may be being trafficked. After one night we moved hotels and of course were refused a refund for the second night. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car or even under a bridge if this is your only option.

If I can give this place a lower star, I would starting off the bat we need to change the pictures, some of the review that are good are ppl to probably are moving thru staying one night. because it is nothing as what you see when you try to book this hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere very sketchy area trucking highway, the hotels under construction, and even the construction or the areas that are done. Still need to be worked on. We got our first room. There were dead bugs that look like bedbugs. Some where still moving, They changed us to a different room, the new room that we went to was OK only reason why we stood was because every other hotel around us was fully booked. We did not have a phone in our room so that we will be able to call front Desk. We asked if we can speak to the manager. They said the manager wasn’t in until Monday. They gave us a phone number. Phone number does not work so yeah if I was you, I would not be booking at this hotel.

The hotel was located in an industrial area. It is older. The staff was pleasant. The room worked for sleeping sort of. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were poor. The hot water pressure coming out of the bathroom sink was low and the water never got hot. The shower worked. The breakfast was great!

I didn’t like that there was construction going on, on the property itself. But that being said, the completed part of the property was really nice. I visited during the early spring so the pool was closed. But it looked really nice. No chairs to sit around it though. Now, for the bad news! I’ll say this the staff was polite and all but, the first room they gave me already had someone in it. Luckily, they weren’t in the room at the time cause that would’ve been a situation I wouldn’t know how to settle down!!!
