Overall, our stay went well. The house was clean and decorated nicely. The house is centrally located in KC, MO. I do have some information for future renters to consider. This rental is actually 2 units - an upstairs and downstairs unit with two separate kitchens and sitting rooms. You have leave the unit, walk outside, and lock/unlock two doors to get between the two units. The fireplaces are electric. We had no issues with our personal safety, but the neighborhood feels a bit run-down (although appears to be under a lot of construction). We didn't see any homeless on the street where we stayed, but there is definitely a homeless population a few streets over. There are quite a few sirens heard throughout the night. The grounds surrounding the rental could use some sprucing up to make the property feel a bit more welcoming - i.e. flowers, new grass, maybe some wood chips around bushes and trees. There is a marijuana dispensary on the corner which gets a lot of traffic on weekend evenings. Although this property was adequate, I probably would not choose this property again because of the neighborhood.
