Beware of what you are buying
Pictures are real, but misrepresent reality. And some details are misrepresented as well.
I bought (and paid for) a 3 stars residence for 4 people 2 adults + 2 children). In reality I rented an apartment very similar to a hotel room of less than 20 square meters including a balcony without sea view, good for 2 people. The host told me I had the largest apartment of the residence.
If you extract the second mattress from the sofa bed (3rd and 4th bed), the “free space” is far less than 10 square meters, balcony included (where stands the only table and chairs of the apartment - if it rains, you cannot eat outside; in any case be prepared to suffer heat for lunch and mosquitos for dinner).
The kitchen initially smells of mould and after showing my disappointment, the host applied an additional cleaning that only partially solved the issue (I never stored dishes and glasses that we used in the kitchen furniture). Freezer door broken and not repaired during our stay.
The bathroom (3 sqm) has a 20x20 cm window open to the building stairwell so that anyone can see you while taking a shower. No furniture for toothbrush or other
The A/C shoots on the sofa bed and I complained to the guest; as expected, my children got a cold from it (even if it worked at 27/28 degrees during night).
There is a parking with CCTV and this is good. The wifi works.
The outdoor garden is great and the pictures are real, but How/when/why do you use it?
You read breakfast available and it means that you can buy a voucher and go to a residence far 100 meters to have breakfast there. It takes 15/20 minutes walking to go to the village of Polichrono and if you are without car it is a little dangerous during the night because of average driving style. Laundromat available means that there is a laundry 20 minutes driving in Kassandreia. The sea is 40 meters from the location has crystalline water but one of the worst beaches I visited in whole Sithonia and Kassandra (pebbles, no sunbeds, no bars, etc.).
So, in a nutshell, I hope you read what you’re buying before completing the reservation, just to be aware of what you are buying and not being in my position where I paid for something that simply differs from what is represented in vrbo description and pictures.
