The only complaint I had was that the coffee every morning down by the pool tasted AWFUL. It was to weak. I had to go out to get a decent cup of coffee every morning.

Our stay here was great! The condo was very clean and had everything we were looking for. It is literally 20 steps from Duval St. The hosts were very attentive and helped you as much as possible. The room was very spacious, had a kitchen with a stove, microwave, and fridge. It had everything you needed to cook if you wanted to. We will be back and would love to stay here again. Highly recommend this place if you are going to come to KEY WEST.

The staff were super friendly and the room and property was very nice. The only complaint I have is they allow smoking outside the rooms and by the pool. Every time I left the room the people next to us were outside smoking. And there were 2 guys that stayed at the pool from sunup to sundown smoking by the pool so i was only able to use it for a little while after the sun was already set.

This place is a hidden gem! It's on a side street right next to Duval St, but it's so quiet and serene, it feels a world away from the commotion. We were upgraded to a king suite, and the second floor space felt like we were in the treetops. The room was appointed with lovely, eclectic furnishings and a very comfortable bed. I can't wait to stay here again!

The room was very well decorated, clean and perfect for a few night stay. The pool was a a great size for an house in the city and the seating areas outside were peaceful! I wish the outdoor furniture was more comfortable to sit in, but overall very nice place.

Firstly, the staff was impressive, very caring, accomodating and genuinely concerned about our satisfaction. The grounds are pretty and the pool is so relaxing with wonderful soft music playing in the background. They offer complimentary tea and coffee poolside which was nice but not Starbucks quality (if you are particular). We stayed in the Cuban room and it was awesome having a bona fide 2 level condo and full kitchen. However, I have to rate the overall stay as 'good' due to the cockroach issue. I am very realistic in that this is an island and cockroaches are abundant but it was distrubing to see so many especially when we turned the light on at night. The staff promptly addressed and had maintenance spray which helped a little. For that reason, I really commend the staff as they didnt 'make excuses' but offered a solution. I would recommend the Douglas House as it was super convenient to all shops/restaurants and included free parking.

Wonderful experience. Quiet and safe. Off the party area but close to walk. Relaxed in the pool and on our private patio! Absolutely loved it for our girls trip!

We absolutely LOVED this property! Quiet, beautiful, quaint, clean and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The only suggestion would be to improve the hard beds and flat pillows. Our lights came on twice in the middle of the night (maybe incentivized by the ghost tour we took earlier!) Overall, we would stay here again! This is my third time to Key West and this has been my favorite place!

Location was great. Two steps down to a small bathroom and we would have preferred another room not on 3rd floor. Need to book direct with the hotel next time to request a room.
