Very surprised. Will stay again. Everything is new, comfy, modern. Excellent service. Just will get bigger room next time. The pool area is very nice. Hotel is not far from the beautiful beach, our favorite one. You can take.a bike and go around the toun. Main Street around the corner.. Hotel is located in the Heard of the toun.

The charming cottage room with covered porch was lovely and the room was very clean. The staff, specifically Nura was so welcoming and gave us personal attention with any of our needs. The breakfast basket delivered daily at your requested time between 8&10 was perfect! Offerings included overnight oats, yogurt with berries, bagels, croissants, hard boiled eggs and a variety of teas, coffee and oj. We’ve never received anything like this while traveling and it was a welcome start to our day. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and enjoyed relaxing under the covered chaises.

Everything was well-kept and clean, the delivered breakfast baskets were wonderful (and a LOT of food!), and the staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I was travelling alone but always felt perfectly safe, and even stayed an extra night! The hotel is also very conveniently located, right next to a stop on the Duval Loop bus stop.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ella’s Cottages. It is a short walk to Duvall Street with lots of dining options close by. The suites were tucked into a beautifully landscaped property. I truly felt transported to a tropical island sanctuary. There were beach/pool towels on the lounge chairs by the pool. The pool itself is small but very clean and refreshing after a hot day. There were also tables in the pool area to dine or gather. We upgraded our room to a larger room with a patio. The bathroom was nicely updated and very clean. Our bedroom area also was nicely updated and clean. The window AC unit worked hard to cool our room on the lowest setting. The ceiling fan helped. The staff was very friendly and helped us find good suggestions of places to eat. The continental breakfast was: essentially it’s a basket of croissants or bagels, bottled orange juice, yogurt cups, coffee, cheese packets, detox shots and two egg bites. I would highly recommend Ella’s Cottages and would stay here again.

This was the cutest place we’ve stayed at in Key West! The room was clean and very comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing, and the pool area was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Too pricey for off season and what you receive

For the amount of money, I paid and off-season for four nights, I expected the room to be bigger with some sort of an area to lounge in. The room was a little beat up and could use some updating for $1800 for four nights. I spoke to other friends that stayed at other resorts in the area and paid about half of what I paid for larger rooms, better breakfast, and better amenities.

Quaint, lovely, and enjoyable place to stay

This place is adorable! The location is good (walking distance to Duval Street). Surrounded by trees making it very private. I especially liked the ice/water machine being central to all the cottages. The cottages are older but very well maintained. No central air, but window units that kept the room cool. The only real downfall is there is no storage in the bathroom. Shelves should be placed above the toilet to keep your toiletries off the floor. A continental breakfast was delivered to you room each morning. If you want a "hearty" breakfast you will need to walk about 6 blocks to Blue Heaven which had the best fried potatoes I have ever had. All in all our stay at Ella's Cottages was a wonderful experience. Would stay there again if we get back to Key West.
