My wife and I were both ill and two days before our arrival date, we tried to change the dates. But, we could not talk to a real human being because we were transferred from Expedia to the hotel. We decided to travel in spite of being sick because the room cost was very high. The room TV remote did not work and the night stands were reversed with the electrical outlets agains the bed. We had to pull the night stands away to plug in our devices and the plugs themselves were VERY loose. The resort is too far away from Mallory Square. We will not be staying there again and I will not recommend Beach House to anyone.

Front desk staff of Yvelin, Ashley and Gary were fantastic. Location was a challenge and it was difficult to get on the free downtown shuttle. They should have been running 2 at peak times due to the high occupancy of the hotel.

I really wanted to love it. The staff was awesome. Upgraded our room to a pool view without our request, so nice of them. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The pool was nice! Full of kids. ( The hot tub was broken.) The lobby was inviting and bright. But driving around to the back to find our room left me feeling like I was using the service entrance. (I wasn’t) Elevator did not work, carried our bags up 3 flights. Got ready for dinner - the bathroom sink did not drain. The shower was awesome , great pressure, lots of hot water. Woke up in the early AM to people talking loudly by the pool - ok, comes with the territory. Headed to the beach across the street - beautiful and they had beach chairs. (Which is why I chose to stay in this location. But honestly- for the $ - I felt like it was not worth it. We did not eat there - but seemed like people were into it.

I was not impressed with resort for the expensive price. This hotel needs refurbishment. The staff super friendly. The shuttle service saved us so much money on parking in downtown! Loved that convince. I was in the 3rd floor in the hallway the doors and walls looked scratched up and beat up!! The a/c is a system in a window … not central. The unit super noisy and the lights are too bright I had to cover them with wash towels. Toilet noise too . The bathroom need upgrades!! Too dated! Too expensive for the resort it self!
