The best night's sleep I had in my 10 days in Canada! The room was super spacious and well appointed, the bed was surprisingly luxurious and I was impressed with being provided bathroom amenities. Even dark blue towels labelled makeup! Prior to this I'd stayed in a five star in Vancouver but I actually preferred it here. The ONLY downside, and it's a big one if you're neither mobile nor steing is that it's a three story walk up. No elevator. So, I had to lug my 25kg case from Australia up and down myself. It's lucky I could as a small, solo female traveller. If you are solo and female, this hotel is super safe. Gob entey and apecial deadbolt key code to wnter your room. It's also very quiet.

This is a unique/historic property. Check in is an interesting process where you enter the adjacent dining establishment and get your room key. Street parking is free in front of the property until 9pm then you need to pay for overnight parking at a nearby parkade. There is no elevator at the property so be prepared to haul your luggage up several flights of stairs. The rooms are quite adequate, mine had a fully equipped kitchen, a small work area and comfortable bed. If you don’t mind the quirks of this historic property then it’s a nice place to stay.

Not a usual hotel! In an old downtown building with very inexpensive parking garage right behind it. Easy check in procedure at the main floor Western Steak and Burger. Many nice restaurants within walking distance. Fully equipped rooms with full kitchen and separate bedroom. Great price and convenience. (No elevator) We have returned again since our first visit and will likely return again if we have business in Guelph.

Love this boutique hotel. The property is old in the heart of downtown but beautifully restored. Room is small, but had a full sized fridge/freezer, a stove, microwave and dishes. Comfortable bed. No elevator for anyone with difficulty doing stairs. We were on the 3rd floor, so a bit of a climb.

A lovely building, convenient to have the kitchen, check-in experience was positive. The room was clean, and the location of the hotel was very convenient for our purposes. My only issue is that the lack of a typical front desk means we had no one to assist us when other guests were shouting and slamming doors for over an hour, between the hours of 1-3am. I appreciate this is a risk you run with this setup, but I expected not to have the issue, given that the booking site listed the rooms as soundproof. We did not elect to call the emergency number, as this was an inconvenience and not an emergency, but a number was provided. I would stay here again!

The hotel was conveniently located to enable us to walk to and from the River Center Theatre with no problem - even at 1030 pm. The room was nice, the towels fluffy and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely atay here again
