The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night. Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady. Historic, Unique and very Special stay!

Easy access from A1(M) and convenient for Harrogate and York. Our one night visit introduced us to a historic home, beautifully restored by the current owners. All the staff were exceptional; the house has interesting rooms, clean and beautifully decorated. Already looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!
