Better than expected

My overall stay was better than expected for an airport hotel. Fast, clean, free, and courteous airport transfer and friendly late night check-in staff (AARON). The lobby and my room were clean and nicely decorated. The included breakfast wasn’t the best but had the basics to start the day. Gym equipment was clean and functional. Good for its class of hotel.

I was struck by the lobby. It looked very nice. There was a noticeable odor when I walked in my room, don't know what it was but eventually I got used to it. There were nice amenities like an indoor pool and workout room, though I didn't stay long enough to enjoy them.

Got the job done. Won't stay there again.

They were out of bar soap in the bathrooms, so you had to use shower gel to wash your hands if you didn't bring your own soap. Family of 4 and there were only 3 towels. Room was cold, which was good because it was July. But the room had an awful musty smell from the A/C.

Staff was polite and accommodating. Building was older and needs some basic updates. Bathroom fans and vents are all old and rusty. Not a single towel rack in the bathroom. The indoor pool was ice cold and not heated. The pool towels were not much bigger than a hand towel. I will probably not stay there again.
