Took a deluxe room with private bath. Beautiful hotel with very clean room. Very good service by staff. Breakfast served exactly at time requested. Shuttle bus took us to the Main Street where we needed to go. It’s just a short 2 - 3 minute drive. Will love to come back to this town and hotel

The onsen was stunning. I just believe the cleanliness and the way this place cleans, including changing the bed sheets and pillow cases (i.e., doing it on the floor with the items literally on the floor) should be changed as it is very unhygienic.

Everything was great from the hospitality to the service. Having a personal shuttle take you around town was great considering how "hilly" the terrain is in Arimaonsen. The onsens (hotsprings) are forbsure the main attraction and the time allotted to rent each onsen (45 minutes a session) was certainly generous. I've stayed here twice already and I'm already looking forward to returning someday.

Staff and service are impeccable. They can pretty much read your mind and are prepared for your question before you even ask. Really helps with the language barrier. The ac/heat ductless units did smell a bit. Odor is probably from the mineral springs.

Great experience! Impressed by the facility and services by the staffs. We arrived Arima Onsen by bus, I happen to saw the hotel bus was outside, and the staff was so pleasant to pick us up. By the way, bus station and nearby tourist information center all provides free call service for you to request hotel pick up. During our 2 days stay, we used hotel’s free shuttle service to town and to the Rokko Ropeway. Really impressed by staffs great help! Breakfast was very generous. They delivered the whole set to our room. Free drink at the lobby all day. Laundry facilities is very clean! I booked premium Japanese room. Only to find out that my 80+ mom had hard time to get down and up. The front desk staff help me to switch to a Japanese & western room. The room is very good size in Japanese term. Clean and comfortable. I do not need room cleaning the next day, but the staffs still provide us with a new Yukata and new water bottle. The best of all, is the onsen. This hotel has 8 private onsen, with the famous silver and gold hot spring. Clean and good size, with green hill view. My mom’s shoulder pain is relieved after soaking. Magical spring!

We had a wonderful time at Taketoritei Hotel Maruyama. Shuttle service was outstanding. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Room with open air Onsen we stayed was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Open air Onsen was beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed very much. Dinner was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious as well. I will visit again. They are so kind, it rained when my mom and I visited. I had a lot of luggage, but more people helped me with my luggage first and checked out, and thank you so much for leaving a good impression on my mom and travel. I was moved by the visit with my boyfriend in October last year, so this trip was the second time, but I'm going to visit again this year!

Stayed one night as part of our honeymoon. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodated my nut allergy! Justin even helped us make a dinner reservation in town. Private onsen was also amazing. Just a really great experience overall!

The feeling of becoming one with nature is a profound and beautiful experience. It goes beyond simple sensory enjoyment, resembling a state of complete unity between mind and body. When we are immersed in nature, away from the city's hustle and bustle, our minds naturally relax. The fresh air, the sounds of birds, water, and wind rustling through leaves all help us enter a peaceful, meditative state.
