We had a fabulous week at the Hideaway. We wanted a week on the Coral Coast before a wedding in Nadi, and chose the Hideaway because of its extremely low nighlty price. I'm not going to lie, the stay didn't start off as great, seeing how rundown the room was, and two very bad meals (I suggest avoiding their toasted sandwiches and pizzas, just odd cheese), but everything from then on was positive. We were in a bure right in front of the ocean, with beautiful well kept gardens. We loved sitting out the front and reading, and playing with our son, or poolside, again, looking out at the ocean. Our meals got so much better, we loved their snack menu (very cheap, and great for lunches), and their Indian and Japanese food was divine. Breakfast is a bit basic but does the job given the nightly rate, and all meals except for the Japanese are served in the same area. The staff were so lovely, and helped my son when he got sick, and helped my mum who isn’t very mobile. She stayed in her own bure. There's a little shop there too, which we bought lots of ice creams from, and even had a kid's panadol, when we accidentally smashed ours (thank goodness!). The beds were really comfortable too! We would definitely come back, given how affordable it was. For the location, if they ever renovate the resort, the price will go up at least 5 times, so it's definitely worth compromising on the quality, to be able to go away for longer.

Dirty stained bed sheets. Bed bugs in our room on the first day we arrived. No water to have a shower 2 days out of 5 days. Breakfast is the same everyday. No telephones in the rooms to call reception. No wifi provided either. All in all pretty disappointed. Ordered for toasties and it was burnt black underneath.

Staff were amazing from reception to housekeeping. Vinaka. Home away from home Just a bit of a distance if you want to be closer to city. Suggest a shuttle for guests to go to Sigatoka for other attractions beaides guided tours. Beautiful, clean and worth the time spent at Fijii hideaway and Spa.

Staff were terrific. Operator needs to reinvest to bring this wonderful glory days many people speak of. Just run down. My kids 7&11 loved it. No bed head and gap between head of bed and wall between masonry engaged piers. Cheap nylon pillows would slip out from under my head into the gap. Really dumb layout and waste of space. Weather in September here is perfect it’s a glorious location

Hideaway has very comfortable bures in a beautiful garden setting, a wonderful range of activities and cuisine each day, the beautiful Coral Coast to explore, friendly and thoughtful staff who helped us connect with Fijian culture, and a family friendly atmosphere. I loved the way the staff treat the children. I think the only area for improvement is in food preparation and hygiene. Otherwise, we really loved our stay and are looking forward to visiting again. What a relaxing holiday! The resort staff made us feel right at home and even pitched in to help with a marriage proposal. Beach amazing and extra activities fun. If you are looking to do nothing but chill then this is the perfect place. Tennis court is non-existent, pool table was out of order as was the table tennis. But overall it was a fun home away from home, would definitely come back. Bula Bula.

One of the single bed in the room is not useable. Food overpriced. I was lucky i hired a car otherwise i had to spend 100 more on dinner while i ate outside with better option with half of price.Free breakfast can only order once the waiter didnt inform so we could order more. Beach wasn't plesant at all. Swiming pool kids slide need to check by the safety inspector as its really not designed properly and mykids hurt during the slide. Swiming pool open till late but towel service close very early. Its very inconvenient.

The staff at the Hideaway are so friendly from as soon as you arrive you feel welcome. The bure was standard nothing fancy. Breakfast buffet was average but was included in the rate. Overall a lovely stay with the beach nearby. This place could do with lots of upgrades. With the upgrades this place could be amazing!

We had *such* a good time at the Hideaway. The location is beautiful - amazing coral straight off the shore and a lovely beach. The staff were fabulous, really helpful and fun. The resort is a bit older and not glamorous but the setting and the activities more than made up for it. The food was generally good, particularly the Japanese grill. Prepare to relax, to laugh a lot and to have a great holiday!

The Kids Club staff were brilliant (shout out to Isi and Tash) who cared for and loved our grandchildren each time they went. One of our grandchildren had their birthday while we were there and they made it so special for her, even organising a cake. Friendly and genuine. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Sigatoka is a 20 minute bus trip (for all of $2!) to get supplies and visit the market to grab all the fresh fruit you want. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back.

I feel like the pictures posted for this accommodation is slightly misleading. The deluxe room we stayed in didn't even have any wifi and typical amenities such as cotton ear buds, etc. The western food on their menu was quite bland and distasteful, however, the local/indian selection was quite nice. The service itself was quite abysmal as we often had to wait at least 30 minutes before food had arrived. Overall it was okay, but I did feel misled by the photos. The only saving grace for this place is the people that work there. I've never met such fun, lovely, and hospitable people before!

The facilities are pretty run down - lots of mould in the bathroom, 2 days of brown water coming from the taps, we had to turn away from the looks of the electricals outside of our bungalow as it looked rather dangerous. The staff is friendly personally but very slow in service or attending to a request. The staff members at reception and the maid exempt. We still enjoyed our stay as the resort is very relaxed and kids friendly. We would not come back though.

The staff at Hideaway are so incredibly welcoming. I loved every bit of my stay, that when it was time to check out - I was a little sad. The food, service & rooms were worth the cost. The staff are what make this place incredibly special. Vinaka family.
