Highly recommended.

The hotel was quiet and very convenient to the centre of Krakow with restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable with a wide variety of foods. We had a very pleasurable stay and would highly recommend staying there.

The location offered easy access to dining and nightlife of Old Towm, but is on a quiet side street. The apartment was very comfortable, with a bedroom sitting area and kitchenette if you wanted to prepare meals.

The hotel is around the corner from the main square and is very walkable to all sites, the train station, and tram options. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The included breakfast was adequate with a small variety of options. My only negative is this, my room faced the front of the hotel and the street and I could not sleep with the window open at night due to the noise. However, when I closed the window, the soundproofing worked great but it was then warm in the room.

Everything was perfect. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Location is within short walking distance to attractions. Lots of places to eat in the area. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Each day they varied the hot food selection and salads. Room was spacious. Bathroom was spacious. AC/heating is centralized so can't control the temperature within the room. Hot water and water pressure worked. I enjoyed my stay at Portal.

What a wonderful stay we had at portal apartments. Very good location. Accessible. I would like to say that the showers were great but maybe having a wet room would be an upgrade. My mum fell getting into the shower. There is no spa on site as like it states on Expedia but they have people come in for massages reasonable priced too! Lovely little balcony. Breakfast was great those cakes were to die for. Many thanks for a lovely stay. Leanne

The only negative of this hotel was the air conditioning - the system is controlled by the staff and it is shared between rooms. For some reason the staff turn of the air conditioning on our third night and we had to go downstairs at midnight to have them turn it back on.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and offered some great advice when asked about a few of the places I was thinking about visiting. The building sits on a relatively quiet street in the old town, so it is convenient but not as loud as I would imagine other locations might be. The room was clean and spacious but the bed was a little firm for my liking. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and helpful people at the desk and we enjoyed the breakfasts which were different every day. Apartment was beautiful with plenty of storage and we enjoyed the balcony. My only problem, being a short person, was getting in and out of the tub which had very high sides.

Great hotel/apartments in a super location!

Portal House apartments are in a super location only 300 meters from Old Town square literally a three or four minute walk. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Like MANY places in Europe the building has air conditioning but each individual room doesn't control it. Having said that I left yesterday and it was 93 degrees and the room was comfortable better than other places I've stayed as far as room temperature.

This was our second stay here and it is in a perfect location for enjoying all that Krakow has to offer. It is exceptionally clean both in public areas and in the room. The breakfast is basic but good enough to set you up for a days sightseeing.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Portal House Apartments! It was the perfect location, so close and walkable to so many sights, shops, restaurants and super easy to catch a tram from there to head to other parts of the city. Our room was very spacious and it was nice to have a little balcony! The staff were all lovely and very helpful throughout our four night stay! Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is located in the old town, about a 10-minute walk from the central station, making it very convenient. It’s situated in an area with little car traffic, and the room faces a courtyard, so it’s very quiet. The courtyard is lush with trees, providing fresh air and a pleasant atmosphere. The room is extremely clean, with high ceilings that make it feel very comfortable. The shower has good water pressure. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of salads and bread. The staff were very kind, and I had a very pleasant stay. I wish I could stay here for about three months.

We liked the location close to the market square.we enjoyed the breakfast.We liked the room and the en-suite. The main problem we had was the air conditioning was not always on and during the night we had to open the windows even though it was 3.30 in the morning we had noise all night long with people shouting in the street .,We spoke to reception to put on the air conditioning all night but this was not done . So the following evening I spoke to the young lady on the reception and she switched it on in a box outside our room .When it’s been so hot you need the windows open but with the noise outside you can’t . Our room was 7.3 on the fourth floor .There are also a bar opposite the apartment and one each end of the road .Out of the five nights we stayed 3 nights Thursday until Sunday we did not sleep.
