room is small but at least we could open our luggage no problem, hotel has no fast delivery service to our next stay in japan, ( our previous hotels in kyoto and osaka both had this service so i thought it’s a standard). laundry is a problem they definitely need to add more. massage service is not as promised, when we followed instruction to book a in room massage, all we got is a “no english”. otherwise this is a great hotel.

Although clean, it’s extremely small. The breakfast was good but no variety. No flexibility in terms of checking in early even if it is just 1 hour early. I don’t know if we got a good value.

Location: Fabulous! Love it! About 1-2 mins away from the Kyoto Station so it’s very convenient. Would stay here again for my Kyoto trips. Room: Smallish but had everything I need plus a king sized bed. 2 of the 4 pillows were thin and somewhat hard - difficult to describe. Bathroom: Toilet seat was not heated but everything else was ok. Check in was quick and uncomplicated with the small counter and helpful staff. Check out was a breeze. I simply dropped my keycard to their designated box.

Convenient location, not too far from the Kyoto main station. However, you are not able to adjust the aircon of the room as it is centralised and it gets very warm at times.
