My stay at the Gion Koh was nothing short of extraordinary. Located in the heart of Kyoto's history Gion district, this Ryokan offered an authentic Japanese experience steeped in tradition and charm. Hyro, the owner, was exceptionally kind and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Hyro's warmth and dedication to his guests made this stay unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Gion Koh to anyone.

A highlight of our visit to Kyoto

We loved the mood at Gion Koh. It was full of original character, antiques and quiet jazz. We felt like very welcome guests to a family home. Guests' every comfort has been considered. The location is very handy to everything.

Nice and quiet stay in Gion

Found Gion Koh to be an ideal spot to stay. It's very close to shijo Dori in Gion, but set back enough that you can escape the hustle and bustle of the district. It's a charming spot, however many of the rooms have a shared bathroom - which were clean and well maintained, but that isn't for everyone. We found our room to be quite large and comfortable, it was warm and cosy and had everything we could have needed (especially liked the tea available).

O hotel está bem localizado no bairro de Gion, é possível fazer vários passeios a pé pela região. Também está próximo de pontos de ônibus e metrô! Ficamos em um quarto com banheiro privativo. O espaço é bem conservado e limpo! A casa tem uma história e foi muito interessante se hospedar ali.

お安く泊まれたので助かりました。 部屋にトイレも水道もないのは仕方ないのかな？とは思います。 部屋は暖房がよく効いて居心地良かったですが、２日めはごみの交換だけだったので床にホコリが舞ってました。 掃除道具があれば自分で掃除できたかも。
