Great value

The staff were very helpful and considerate. This is a great place to stay if you want a basic and comfortable home base for sight-seeing. It was easy to catch the bus and train to other locations.

- Location is very near to Saiin Station (4 mins walk) - Check in after 5pm you will need to call up from a phone in a reception and mentioned your confirmation number - Quite a large room for 4 pax - they provided 3 queen sized beds - laundry is available in the room (make sure u bring ur own detergent) - Nearby many many restaurants and convenient store

Great location and the room is very spacious, which is very surprise to me after staying in multiple hotels/apartments in Japan. This is really great and if i ever come back to Kyoto again i will definately book this place again.

There is a washing machine in the room, so that was very convenient. It was very spacious, clean, and enjoyable, especially for its price. It wasn't located near the large, touristy areas. It was a very peaceful area. The only thing is that the employee told me that we had not paid yet, and I had to pull up my credit card statement, and she had to call her boss in order to clear up the misunderstanding. Other than that, the staff was very nice.

Overall, our party of 3 enjoyed our 2 night stay at West Ave Saiin. It has a laid back feel and you can easily get what you need on your own at the front such as towels, laundry detergent, etc. I believe there is no front desk person after 5pm, but they make it easy to call and check in. The room itself was clean, simple and spacious. We appreciated the free washing machine inside the room and there is a small kitchenette if you wish to use it. It is in walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores, but will require a local bus or walking to get to a train station, which was a hassle with our luggage. Other than that it was pleasant and we would recommend it.

Gem of a find

Place is very new, open only since March 2018. Staff are friendly and not intrusive. Rooms were spacious by Kyoto's standards, utility items are well thought of and practical. Beds were big and comfy. Location is close to the bus and subway stations, and 24hr food/convenience store is nearby as well. Great value for money. Gem of a find.

隣や上の階のドンドンという足音や物音は少し気になりましたが、それ以外は特に気になりませんでした。 全体的にセルフサービスで、ゴミ捨てやタオル交換などは自分で行います。スタッフにサービスしてもらい、至れり尽くせりなホテルを求める方は別のホテルの方がいいかもしれませんが、コスパ重視の方は満足できると思います。

ベットに虫が大量発生！

ベットで寝ようとしたらまず一匹虫を発見したので殺してそのまま寝ようとしましたが、時々体がピリピリしたりと何か反応して寝苦しく、起きてベットを見てみたら…南京虫やトコジラミが大量発生していて、とてもじゃないがそのまま寝られず、着ていたパジャマを脱ぎシャワーを浴び直し、夜中の3時に荷物をまとめてホテルを出ました。たまたまホテルの隣に親戚が住んでいたので、夜中に電話しとめてもらえましたが、大変な思いをしました。フロントには人が常駐しておらず、翌日連絡をし、宿泊予定の2泊分の返金を申し入れました。お正月だった為、手続き等がスムーズには行きませんでしたが、返金対応はしてくれました。設備は整っていたし、パッと見は清潔に見えたので、設備に関してのレビューはokにしました。

是個CP值很高的飯店，位於住宅區，很安靜，距離西院坂阪急、西院嵐山駅步行大約5分鐘，房間寬敞，有小餐桌、小廚房，衛浴廁所也大，還有洗衣機、微波爐、冰箱，整體很滿意

室内着の用意があるのか分からなくて 念の為持っていったので 良かったのですが 日本人なら 宿には館内着など通常あると思う場合が殆どだと思うので 宿泊情報に 記載があったほうが 宿泊準備をするにあたって 悩まなくて済むと思った。

乾淨舒適

附近機能好，有藥妝也有超市，坐公車和地鐵都很方便；入住時一進房門就很舒適，冷氣很安靜不吵，雖然隔音沒有很好，也沒有到房間打掃，但只要把垃圾放置在門口，每天都會有人去收垃圾，好處是不會有行李物品遺失的疑慮；房內有小冰箱、小洗衣機和微波爐，浴室設有烘乾功能不怕衣服不乾，真的很方便。是以後有機會還會想住的飯店。(退房時會另外收取住宿稅)
