This hotel in Kyoto is a gem! Great location, clean and beautiful rooms, and excellent service. The breakfast is very good, and the on-site baths are lovely. We stayed with a toddler and found the staff very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Everyone speaks English properly, so we were able to communicate with them easily. The room was clean and nice and big enough. The location is great, has a market around it and close to touristic locations.

One note is that if you get a room above the onsen, good luck. There is a drum or something that will beat occasionally all day, even early morning and late at night. Aside from that it was a nice place.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The room is spotless and spacious. The staff is amazing (friendly and very helpful). We used a private onsen at the hotel and it was priceless, worth every penny. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. 10/10.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very attractive and modern. Our room was large and well laid out. The location is ideal-a brief walk to Nishiki market and 18 minutes to Gion. Many restaurants are nearby. Kyoto station is about a 15 minute taxi ride. The staff is excellent and helpful. The property is meticulously maintained. I would skip the restaurant for dinner. The food is tasty but the portions are small even by Japan standards. We did not eat breakfast there. We would stay here again without question.
