Located at the center of Kyoto; staff very accommodating, room very clean with good amenities except no lotion; gave us 2 bottled water everyday- helped us hydrate during our walk around the city. Have also ice and filtered water dispenser and laundry/ dryer in a room next to the elevator on each floor. Can’t ask for a better hotel for the price. Breakfast is good- like brunch for 2200 per person per day but beats looking for breakfast place every morning.

In the middle of Kyoto. Walkable to everything - nishika market and shopping areas. Rooms are smallish (normal for japan) but fixtures and furniture was lower quality. Not the best hotel but as with everything japanese it was clean and comfortable. There are other options in this range.
