Amazing Hotel in convenient location

It was a beautiful & modern hotel in walking distance from Gion as well as the Keihan Railway station. Kyoto station was only 5 stops away on 3 different bus lines. The rooms were nice and clean. We got a card for their Sake dispenser as a welcome present. Wonderful hotel. Anytime again!

京都オリエンタルホテルギャラリー

とても清潔感ある明るいホテルです。店員の方も和かで優しく対応して下さりました。 駐車場はすぐ近くのコインパーキングを利用しました。宿泊すると京都の日本酒が一人おちょこ2杯分無料で試飲出来て良かったです。 ロビーで飲みながらくつろぎました。 部屋は広くとても快適でした！ トイレと洗面が一緒になっており、個室のシャワーがありました。 お風呂が好きな方にはものたりないかもしれないかもしれませんが、新しく清潔でお洒落でした！価格は2人で5673円ととても割安で大満足です！

It’s a new hotel. Friendly staff with great service. Our room is spacious with all amenities. Located slightly away from the buzz, great if you are looking for place a bit quieter.

Easy check in process, with a welcome drink vending machine providing wine or sake. The room was small but normal for Japan. No bath in the room or in the hotel but a lovely shower in the room. If you don't understand Japanese, the airconditioner is a total mystery!

The room design is very unique and very convenient for guest. The bed is suitable for sleeping in terms of size and soft level. The bathroom is comfortable and clean. In the overall, this hotel is recommended to stay if you come to Kyoto.

We stayed in Kyoto for 4 nights! This is a brand new hotel which just opened 2 weeks prior to our stay. They upgraded our room. Room was huge. We 2 beds and 1 cabinet. The cabinet with 2 drawers was useless since they have the teacups and glasses stored. Top of the cabinet had electric water kettle. There was a refrigerator at the bottom of the cabinet which was useful. Other than that the room was empty. There were no chairs, no dresser draw to put clothes, no tables, no side tables. The room was very bare. It needed some furniture. The bathroom was large but the sink is very tiny. They replenished the toiletries every day. Despite the missing furniture, the hotel is in a great location, the train station is just outside the hotel. You can walk to Kiyomizu Dera Temple, and Gion in 15-20 minutes. Across the street from the hotel is family mart, 7-11 and Lawson convenience store. Reception staff barely spoke English.
