The room is spacious. Location is excellent. It’s close to Kyoto station. The only downside is the public bath area is small. The hot water bath is unclean, with some visible hair and precipitation in the water.

The stay was okay and the hotel was clean, but the bed was too soft and uncomfortable. Breakfast was just average and the pastries were too hard. The front desk and restaurant staff didn’t seem friendly or welcoming. The public bath wasn’t clean in the evening with a layer of soap visible on the water. Overpriced..

Amazing! The best hotel we stayed at in Japan. Spacious and cozy. The bed is unbelievably comfortable with a comfy duvet and good pillows. Great layout. Toiletries provided including soaps, razor, toothbrushes, q tips, etc. would definitely recommend!!

We booked a standard twin room, and it was very good. We know hotels in Japan are usually small, but this room was spacious. The place is very nice, clean and modern. There’s a laundry, you can see if it’s occupied from the TV -it’s always busy. But across the street there’s a 24he laundry that saved me. It’s located a block from Kyoto station, and you can walk to many places from there. The area has restaurants, stores and cafes. In the front desk area, you can get coffee and soft drinks for free all day. That’s great, mostly when outside is cold and you want a warm coffee when arriving back.
