Room and bathroom was very clean and very big for Japan standards. Bed was comfortable. I appreciated all the outlets and storage space. Lobby has free coffee, tea, sake, ice, water. Location convenient next to 7/11 and subway station. Yakisoba restaurant nearby was very good. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone.

The bathroom had a bad smell, I’m guessing it’s from the pipes? Told hotel staff and they were friendly and helpful - but their solution didn’t fix the smell. Room was decent, relatively clean but cleaning services only did partial cleaning. Loved that there was a Starbucks within a block. The buffet breakfast was delicious!

Loved our stay here, a very welcoming staff and great room. The hotel was just off a more Main Street, but felt like it was miles away. Very walkable to some of the main dining options and shopping areas in Kyoto. Very walkable to the Gion District, Pontocho, izakayas, and more. Subway line very near to see all the temples/shrines. There's also a Starbucks and 7-11 really close by if needed! Highly recommend for the more budget travelled.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and room service was great. My room was more spacious than other hotels I’ve stayed at in Kyoto. The location is perfect with many dining options nearby and easy access to the train station. They even held my luggage after checkout so I could explore before leaving. Overall, a wonderful experience — highly recommend!

Very well placed, convenient for subway, shopping, restaurants and visitor attractions. Much better than the Tokyustay Ginza in facilities, where we were proor to this. Great gratis drinks of coffee, still and fizzy water and Sake. Breakfast, not included in room price and that offered by the adjoining restaurant an absolute rip off. All in all, very good for the price.
