The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We sent our luggage here and it was handled well by the staff. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were wonderful.

The hotel is within walking distance to the Karasuma Line and bus stops, making travel and sightseeing easy. However, the bathroom was quite dirty, there were some brown stains near the drain, and the shower curtains had black spots/mold on them. Would choose another hotel next time we visit Kyoto.

Very polite and friendly hotel staff helped us in every situation.The rooms are small, clean and useful. The location of the hotel is very good, 150 m from the metro stop. Compact room but great use of the space. I appreciated the mini fridge, slippers and night gown that were free to use with the room. There was also a microwave in the lobby along with free coffee. I communicated just fine with the staff in English, they were accommodating for storing luggage early before checkin. The lobby was nicely decorated. I love the giant stone/moss ball.

The hotel staff were polite and very welcoming. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel is located in a small alley, so it’s a bit of a walk to the nearest subway and bus stops, as well as to the closest convenience store. The in-room amenities were limited—basic items were provided, but there were no more detailed touches such as hair ties, a comb, or bath salts. The coffee in the lobby wasn’t very good, and there were no other welcome drinks available. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room did not have a freezer function, so it wasn’t possible to store ice cream. Overall, it is a comfortable hotel that meets basic needs. Thank you for the hospitality.

Must prepaid the whole stay, meaning you cannot move out even you are not happy with the hotel in the early stay. Difficult to communicate with front desk for in English for assistance. Better to Google.

部屋もキレイでスタッフの対応もとても良くすごしやすかったです。 ただ、清掃の部分でお風呂掃除、ゴミ回収、タオルの交換がワンセットのカードになっていて、部屋に入られたくなかったこちらとしては、ゴミ回収とタオル交換だけお願いしたかったのですが、そのカードがなくどうしていいかわからない部分がありました。 タオルだけはフロントにお願いしたらもらえました！

受験で利用したのですが、学校までのアクセスを相談したところ、スタッフの方が大変親身に対応してくださいました。激励の言葉もいただき、とても気持ちの支えになりました。単なる事務的な対応ではなく、困っている私達の気持ちに寄り添ってくださる姿勢に感動しました。ありがとうございました。 朝食会場のスタッフの方も気持ちの込もった対応をしていただき、朝の力になりました。 １つ残念だったのは、お掃除が大雑把だったことです。例えば、結構減っていたトイレットペーパーの補充ができてなかったり、コップ類が新しい物になってなかったり‥もう少し仕上がりを確認していただけたら良いと思いした。
