Nice hotel with good service and comfortable rooms. It's a bit out of the way from the major Kyoto sites - we had to take taxis or Ubers almost everywhere. Staff could be better at English - very minimal understanding of the language from most front desk staff (although this problem is common throughout Japan in the service sector). Starbucks and Family Mart (similar to 7-11) right next door.

Everything about this hotel was great. It’s a quiet area convenience store and Starbucks right next-door; train station just a minute walk. They have a washing machine room which really help me. The only problem I found was that their beds were a bit hard for me.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and it was a great choice for Kyoto. The hotel is located not far from all the tourist locations, yet is surrounded by quiet and peaceful area. It’s extremely clean and looks brand new.
