Great communication and recommendations from the host. Very friendly interactions. The place isn't very big and would be fine for two people max in my opinion. It was only me this time and it was a perfect amount of space. You cand definitely fit 4 people, but it would be cramped. Two would be the perfect amount in my opinion. A little far from the hub but close to bus stops and train stations so never a hassle to get anywhere. You will be sleeping on thin futons on the floor so wouldn't recommend for anyone with back problems. But I slept comfortably every night and got excellent sleep. Very quite neighborhood with a little noise in the morning when people start up their bikes to go to work, but I was usually up before them trying to cram the most into each day.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment in Kyoto for several days as a base to explore Kyoto and take day trips to surrounding area like Nara and Osaka.We particularly liked how central it was with only a few minutes walk to Kyoto Central station and yet how quiet it was because of the location in a residential area.The apartment is very spacious for two people and is equipped with everything as described online. It was super easy to use the washing machine and amenities.The check-in was easy and the host was very helpful and accommodating.Near the apartment, there are two supermarkets in walking distance and several small restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Okonomiyaki at the small restaurant around the corner!Overall, we would stay at this accomodation again if we came back to Kyoto.
