New central air/heat. Large back yard. Area for fire pit. Indoor area for cleaning fish. Dogs welcome. Close to bike/walking trails. Boat landing/marina just a short walk away that offers boat rentals. Kayaks and canoe included for use during your stay. Swimming off shore is not recommended due to weeds. Boating, year round fishing, and many attractions to see in the area. Only minutes away from town, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet beauty of the outdoors.

We came to Onalaska to ice fish. Lake access was great. House was clean and tidy. The heated space to clean fish and put our gear was awesome. We had 3 adults and space was roomy enough for us. I feel 4 would have worked fine but 5 adults would be tight

2025 Vacation

We went and watched the sunset on the boat, did some fishing, and got Engaged! Best vacation yet!Plenty of space for the dogs to roam around and Lucy was a very welcoming neighbor :)

It was a VERY clean property. Cute. Perfect for two people.The only suggestion I have, would be to have a small counter next to the bathroom sink vs a rolling cart for towels. There is minimal space for bathroom toiletries. FYI- for those looking for the place….it is now a bright blue vs yellow. We also met the owner and had a great chat with him. We will be checking out his business, Bubbas Meats, next time we are in the La Crosse area.

Cooler by the Lake...

A simple gem of a cottage: this was a nice quiet retreat on a small lake teaming with wildlife. For old friends and elders, accommodations were perfect. Clean, accessible, responsive owner next door. We also liked the proximity to 2 great communities with restaurants, shops, and scenic parks. Just 5-15 min drives to Onalaska and Lacrosse, respectively.
