Amazing place. Location is really close to the main city center, the room are great and facilities of the hotel are also amazing. Didn’t feel too crowded either. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place

We had a great time staying there. The rooms are large, clean. There are good selections for breakfast The receptionists and all staff are friendly and courteous. The place is filled with beautiful plants. One of the rooms in our unit Tuna did not have hot water for shower. It will be nice if there are some clothes hangers in the room.

So beautiful and quiet but convenient to the city and nature expeditions. Loved it and would stay again. Staff was gracious and accommodating and the restaurant is delightful and the food 5 star. They went out of their way on each meal.

Wonderful place to stay the only thing that was unfortunate during our stay was that we didnt have access to the gym and the basketball court which was a big selling point for us when we were booking. It was all under construction and it would have been nice to know prior to arriving. Otherwise, beautiful location and very friendly staff!

This place was a surprise to us. The staff…all staff…were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and such a great view while you eat!

We were blown away at this property! Perfection! Rooms totally updated and big! The staff amazing! Service was top notch 5 star worthy! I was an executive for a billion dollar travel conglomerate ! And this resort would have warranted a 5 star rating! Dinner and breakfast were our best meals on this trip, high five to the chef and servers!

The loudest hotel in the world

Staff were excellent and grounds are gorgeous. Everything else was rough. Our room was extremely loud with river and animal noise. We couldn’t have a conversation in the room at all, anywhere, without yelling. We didn’t sleep the two nights we were there because it was so loud. Seriously, every night was like Bigfoot, a hyena and a dozen monkeys were partying all night, breaking branches, banging on the roof…the room condition also wasn’t great. The blinds and fans in the bedrooms didn’t work. There are bugs everywhere (normal for the area). We only had two days in the area and felt like they were ruined because we were so sleep deprived we couldn’t enjoy the area’s many activities. My daughter was sick (made worse by sleep deprivation) so we ordered some plain rice for her from room service, along with my dinner. My food was delivered (after over a hour) but hers never came. Finally, after two hours and many messages, it was delivered. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and am accustomed to the occasional noisy places but this noise couldn’t even be covered with a white noise machine on blast.

We spent at week in our bungalow and it was like being in the middle of the jungle. At the same time, the grounds were beautiful. The restaurant had wonderful options and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Property felt very safe and had amazing landscaping. It was in a walking distance to La Fortuna and zip lining activities, etc.. We enjoyed breakfast and dinners there. Massages were very good too.

The property for what we paid was “okay” but had the potential to be a great resort . The room we were allocated was very tired and needed a refresh and lacked tea and coffee making facilities . I should note that there was an outdoor kitchen nearby but did not have milk , sugar etc. Some rooms are near a fast flowing river which is extremely noisy (this may not bother everyone). The resort is quite large and could do with being signposted. The pool area was good. Breakfast was great and it was an added perk that this was included in our rate. Strangely and this has never happened before, the hotel requested a USD500 deposit to be held which was super excessive and exceeded the cost of the hotel. The onsite spa is very reasonably priced and the massages are highly recommended.
