Best hotel for honeymooners

The hotel was really amazing and convenient. We really enjoyed our private cabin with the jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. We like that they had on call transportation for us whenever we wanted to go into town. The pool, bar and dining areas were very spacious and nice. We really enjoyed their food and drinks. Definitely recommend to stay here as a couple trip.

Private cabin was nice. Best part was being on the edge of a rainforest and hearing/seeing monkeys in the trees and other wildlife. Be aware they may wake you up, but was worth it. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Lomas Del Volcán provided outstanding service from the second we arrived for our 9 day vacation in La Fortuna. We were greeted by a very courteous Alexandra and check in couldn’t have been easier. We arrived late, dropped of our bags in the room and made our way to one of main restaurants onsite. Great food from start to the end of our stay. The fresh ceviche with tuna is a must!!! We had breakfast almost every morning at the hotel and they had something new everyday along with omelets made to order. The fresh fruit each morning is fantastic. Josebel (unsure of spelling) was always a pleasure to talk to and so nice. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and spend some quality time with your loved one this place is great or bring the whole family. The views from the swim up bar pool are unreal, from monkeys, toucans and a second to none view of the volcano. Great drinks, food and very courteous staff were second to none. Andrea at the pool bar was always friendly, courteous and provided some great local knowledge and just a joy to talk with through the week. She is an asset to Lomas for sure. This only highlighted a few of the staff but all were great and a pleasure. Please note this is from someone the lives near Disney in Florida and they provide a fantastic experience and were impressive for beginning to end!!!

Such a beautiful property surrounded by the lush rainforest. Our room had a private jacuzzi which we loved. It would have been useful to have a microwave in the room but otherwise, it was very well appointed. The restaurants were very nice. Food was very tasty and well presented. The breakfast buffet was great. Lots of options with a beautiful view of Arenal volcano. The staff were all excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

The grounds and property are beautiful and very well kept. The rooms are separate bungalows with their own sitting area and hot tub and set within the forest. The staff is welcoming and helpful with any questions about the property or the area. Would highly recommend and hope to return again.

Amazing time at this property!! The private bungalow with an amazing view of the mountains and volcano was just breathtaking . staff was so nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. There was a warm pool with a bar, cold pool, and a hot tub that we definitely enjoyed. The property was also close to the stop of restaurants and little shops. Will come here again!!

Beautiful property. Great pool. Great views. This hotel is a little pricier than the others in the area but it worked out great for us. There was a nice pool and bar to relax in after a day’s activities. The room was clean and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cold. The included breakfast had a nice buffet. Our dinner was excellent as well. Overall all a terrific experience.
