Loved the thermal and cold waters. The facility is very organized. The staff was very accommodating for every request. Room service was excellent. Breakfast provided every option that we would have wanted and very diverse. Check in and out was smooth and inviting. Dinner was excellent. Had the red curry mahi mahi (perfect) and the mixed drink I wanted but was not on the menu was made without question. All of our excursions picked us up in the hotel lobby and could not have been any easier. Would do this experience all over again.

Nice property but The thermal pool needs more cleaning as there was hair floating around also we could here the conversation between two people in the connecting room. The breakfast was excellent.

We had a great stay! Check in was quick and easy. Staff was polite and helpful. Bracelet as the key made things very easy! Room was spacious. AC nice and cold. Grounds are absolutely beautiful. Shuttle up and down the hill was constantly running even in low season. Breakfast was wonderful with tons of options. Loved all the birds we saw! If I had anything negative to say it would be that it still felt crowded in the main hot springs even though it was low season.

NOT SUITABLE FOR SENIORS. Neither the facilities nor the management are adequate. There are no 5 or 6 person rooms, only “hard like tatami” setups in 4-person rooms. We arrived at 2:00 p.m. with a 78-year-old senior. We asked at reception if the room might be ready so the elderly person could rest after the long trip from San Carlos. The receptionist got up to check, but the manager, Jeison, stopped her and said check-in time was 3:00 p.m. We waited in the lobby until 3:00 p.m. The room only had two double beds. The fifth person had to sleep on a thin 2-inch mat placed over a roll-out board under one of the beds. The number of towels, pillows, and blankets was for four people, not for the five I had booked. Reception’s response was that all rooms are like that. They sent an extra set of towels and blankets, but the fifth person still had to sleep on a mat on the floor, not pleasant at all. Breakfast and the waiters’ service were very good. What was unpleasant was the lack of consideration for the elderly person and the fact that they charge for 5 person rooms when they don’t actually have them, instead, they squeeze an extra guest uncomfortably into a 4 person room.

Wonderful resort with breathtaking views! I would recommend this resort to anyone vacationing in La Fortuna area. We loved the hot springs pools and just tropical vibe! My kids loved the slides and pina coladas! Pura Vida.
