What a GEM of a hotel! Even better than the pictures. The grounds are so beautiful with lots of flowering plants. We saw a Toucan and 3 Sloths! The Staff was very helpful with spotting the Sloths plus Coffee tour and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was fantastic! We only had two nights here but wished we had a longer stay. Incredible value. My favorite part was sitting outside the room with my binoculars looking at a large Sloth that stayed in the same spot our whole stay! Also nice to be able to walk everywhere. Highlight of our Costa Rica adventure.

Comfy spacious & clean

Lovely staff, great bed & pillows ! Large & spacious rooms with a fridge & AC. Great views & lovely gardens with plenty of birds. Pool are could do with a little attention but still great to cool down.

The rooms and beds were good, and the staff were extremely kind and took time every day to show our kids the sloths that hang out in the trees. Breakfast was great and coffee as well! The one pool was under construction but the other was open and kids had fun despite it being small. Would recommend!

Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Secreto in La Fortuna. The staff were amazing! Very friendly and attentive to our needs. It's tucked away a bit off the main street, which made for a mostly quiet stay. The only issue was the roof work being down on a Sunday, which we planned as our rest day from excursions. It had to be done, but we wished it was done on another day. The staff was very apologetic about it, which we appreciated. The hotel is conveniently located to many great activities, suited to whatever level your sense of adventure! Also within walking distance to many great restaurants. We would stay there again!

Beautiful surroundings with a good view of the Volcano, the hotel is very clean with comfortable rooms and a lovely spacious bathroom and shower, a nice pool area, great breakfast with three options to choose from. All the staff were very friendly but Wdilvis and Fabricio who manned the desk were extremely helpful and very friendly at all times, a special thanks to Wdilvia for organizing our trips, especially the Baldi hot springs, they were wonderful, I would highly recommend this little jewel and would definitely go there again.

Perfect Location for La Fortuna. Although Hotel Secreto is right in town it feels like you are in the country. They feed the birds in the mornings and which is very entertaining to see.
