This is a great hotel with an amazing ocean view. We love the restaurant at top floor. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel this year.

Was okay. Take an old hotel and do some remodeling. Then try to label it as cool. Not really a success here. Still feels old. Rooms a little dirty / dusty. Never got cool. The thermostat just for show. Did not know the hallways are open to the outside. Like an apartment. Elevators are SLOW. Unless you are on an upper floor, the views are obstructed.

The stay was ok. Everything was cleaned. Older hotel. We made it a bit early and front staff didn’t accommodate until about 5 hours later. I understand the check in time, however I approached the front desk 3 times, no avail until the last front desk clerk took my question and we were accommodated less than 30 minutes. I felt the first clerk just blew me off. The second clerk was accommodating. The area was very slow not much to do. Uber to the pier/Coronado area was expensive. Parking at the hotel was $42/night. I also booked breakfast/meals but that was very confusing I still had to pay.

Hotel is aging and it shows. There was an unexpected daily fee of $30 on top of your room costs that I wasn’t made aware of until check-in. The shower privacy screen was broken and had to be repaired before we could shower. The dinner menu for the restaurant was not updated on their online portal which caused some confusion. Charged $25 for a late check out but my room key was turned off early and someone knocked on the door to “check on late check out rooms” even though the deadline had not yet arrived. Location, however, was amazing. Easy walking distance to the beach. Starbucks right there next to the property.

We had such a wonderful stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking and truly made the trip feel special. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been more perfect, close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The atmosphere throughout the property was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a great experience. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway with amazing views, a prime location, and an outstanding team that truly goes above and beyond.

This hotel was a perfect, central location for our trip to La Jolla. We used all the amenities on the property: sea and sky lounge for happy hour, the gym, bike rental, and the pool. The gym was really updated, clean and well equipped. The bikes were nice to explore La Jolla shores area and the beach. The pool was nice (and heated) although it was more overcast when we went so we didn’t stay long. It was nice that sunscreen was provided! The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfy. The view of the ocean was amazing! Parking was a little expensive ($42/day) but there wasn’t another option. It was at least convenient and close. All of the staff we interacted with were so friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again if going to La Jolla!
