Villa De Cubas is a modern, European designed luxury villa. Constructed with stunning coastal views and is located on the outskirts of Villaverde. It is no more than a 10-15 minutes drive from El Cotillo and Corralejo. The villa includes a very spacious open lounge, equipped with home cinema surround sound, Satellite TV, BluRay DVD, Wifi internet. It has a fantastic fully equipped contemporary kitchen/diner which seats 12 and 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, Master bedroom wing has it own dressing room/bathroom/TV/DVD. Villa de Cubas has a fantastic overall living space that measures 380sq.m. The gardens boasts a large 66m2 (11m x 6m)swimming pool that includes a shallow end for children which is solar heated with electric back up for winter months. A Truly Memorable Family Stay – Highly Recommend

Just returned from an amazing family holiday at this stunning villa. It is huge, very private, peaceful, and spotless. Gave us Love Island vibes. We had a check-in issue, but the host responded immediately and resolved it. Great customer service.The villa is mostly quiet. Locals have dogs, and the nearby kennels can be noisy briefly around 5 PM. WiFi is decent at 16 Mbps in the living room. VR gaming worked well. Mobile 4G was strong throughout.The top bedroom offers breathtaking 360 degree views. Perfect for morning coffee. The spacious ground floor bedroom with en suite was a favourite. Pool was ideal in April. Warm, clean, and perfect for kids and adults. Plenty of space around it too.Kitchen is large and well-equipped, though a few extras would help. Sharper knives, garlic press, whisk and metal trays. The information book is a lovely touch but needs updating. Tiggy the cat and a recommended restaurant appear gone.Great bakery nearby and Mercadona in Corralejo is excellent for a big shop. The BBQ was well used and appreciated. Watch for ants - keep crumbs at bay!Would love to see a floor plan and maybe a pump for inflatables. All in all, a brilliant stay. Thanks to hosts David and Marget Allen. We would gladly return.

The perfect place

The review of this property is definitively easy to write. For us, family with teenagers, was the perfect place to stay. The villa is more beautiful than what you see from the pictures and perfectly clean. The space is more than enough. Location allows to relax reading in silence sun bathing or swimming but also to go easily to the sea and trekking. Cities and related shopping and restaurants are a few minutes away. The communication was fast, gentle and easy. Thanks!

What a villa!

Had the most amazing stay! The villa was perfect for our group of 9 people. It is so clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outside area and pool is absolutely stunning. The pool itself is big and loo and warm. The beds are really comfortable. The weather was very unpredictable this week but we had great fun and managed some sea swims. We had some fabulous meals at cafe canela in lajares and also a fabulous pizza pasta place across the roundabout from the hyperdino in lajares. Their pizza/ pasta were amazing and the staff lovely! We will be back!

Spacious villa in a great location

Our first ever trip as a family overseas, and not disappointed by Fuerteventura. This villa is a good spot if you want to travel between coasts and get away from the crowd. Lots of space, great pool area etc. IT/TV system is all a bit outdated so bring your own laptop to hook up or favourite DVDs etc if you want the options of a movie night. However, it’s a super smart villa in a great location and perfect for large groups or a couple of families.

Nice villa in quiet location

Villa was spacious with plenty of room to spread out, nicely finished both internally and out. Had a lovely weeks holiday here, however, there can be a fair bit of noise from the dogs continually barking to the rear when your chilling by the pool. Twiggy the cat was a real character, well fed during our stay. Only negatives I would point out was the lack of awareness to the CCTV installed inside of the property, landlords have a legal obligation to make guest aware that their image may be recorded. Secondly the tiles around the pool are lethal when wet especially if flip flops involved, be very careful !!! However, lovely big property, kitchen well stocked and we did enjoy our stay !

Christmas at Villa De Cubas

Had a lovely family Christmas at Villa De Cubas - 2 Grandparents, 2 sons with wives/partners and 2 granddaughters (12 & 4 yrs). Pool was loved by all but unfortunately both girls were cut by a minute chip of either tile or stone caught in the grout between tiles on one of the steps. Both were cut, the 4 year old on her toe and the elder one on her leg. The chip was found and disposed of . It would appear that it must have either blown in or been disturbed by water movement as the pool had only been checked about an hour before by the maintenance man. The only other problem was loss of internet from Christmas Eve but at least this kept the 12 year old off her iPad! These apart we had a fantastic time and loved the island especially Oasis Wildlife Park. Please thank the owners for making such a beautiful villa available for people to escape from wet UK and enjoy Christmas in the sun.

Villa De Cubas

We all enjoyed our 2 week stay and the villa it was a great base. The only downside was the area around the pool when wet was very slippery and quite dangerous for young children, we had to buy rubber soled beach shoes for the 2 children. The dogs at the rear of the property were barking quite loud at times during the day and night which was a little irritating. Overall very nice indeed.

Wow, What a Villa!!

What can I say but this is probably one of the best Villa's that my family have stayed in on the Island. It is an amazing villa, lovely and quiet, clean and modern and most importantly safe. It has a fabulous large pool that stayed warm during the day and night. The outside area is beautiful with all the diffeent plants and flowers, and with sun beaming around the area all day who could ask for more. With the large windows you can enjoy all the views overlooking Corralejo (From the Kitchen) The bedrooms are set out like a 5 star hotel and were cool at night. The location of the villa was good, with a short 30 minute drive from the airport and only about ten minutes drive to either Corralejo or El Cottillo. We visited the local bakery by the school in Villaverde on most days where you can sit down and have a coffee whilst waiting for the bread to be baked, especially on Sunday's when most of the local shops are closed. We shopped at the local shops in Villaverde but on many occasions went to Hipperdino in Lajares. In the evenings we either had a BBQ (charcoal) or went in Corralejo / El Cotillo where you will find some amazing restaurants especially The Mirador in El Cottillo which overlooks the bay. El Horno is a must if you fancy a more localised restaurant which is only 5 minutes by car in Villaverde. From all the family we would like to thank all the cleaners and Pool Guy for keeping everything clean during our stay. We had an amazing 2 weeks holiday and we would definitely recommend it to anyone and look forward to booking it again

Excellent villa!!

This was a really fantastic villa, with a fabulous pool and outdoor area. It really does feel like a luxury villa with the modern open design and large windows to enjoy the fabulous views. The pool was lovely and warm, it wasn't as deep as we'd hoped, which is a shame for the teenagers, but it was still a great pool. The outside area gets great sun all day and with all of the glass at the property you really feel connected whether enjoying outside or relaxing inside. It was a shame that the sound system wasn't working and some sort of Bluetooth sound system would be a welcome addition to the villa. The bedrooms were cool at night most of the time but a pedestal fan would be useful for the nights that get hotter. The location of the villa was great, with a relatively short drive from the airport and only about ten minutes to Corralejo, all improved by the new road systems. We were able to buy all the groceries we needed from the local Hyperdino in Villaverde. We always enjoy eating out on holiday and Fuerte has plenty of great restaurants. We enjoyed a lovely meal in Villaverde at Mahoh (an authentic Spanish restauarant) on our first night and many great meals in Corralejo. The villas cat was a welcome addition and she charmed everyone! We are now on the lookout for a kitten!! Thank you for a fantastic week in your lovely villa we would definitely recommend it and would consider booking again in the future.

Beautiful villa with spectacular pool

Had a fantastic stay in the most beautiful villa. It was so peaceful and quiet we could easily fall asleep by the amazing pool. We found brilliant restaurants just a few minutes drive away, also the beaches are literally breathtaking. There is the most gorgeous little cat that comes to the villa regularly and she is just a bundle of love, the villa was very clean and extremely well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Excellent, peaceful stay

We had a wonderful second stay in Villa De Cubas. The location of the villa was excellent - a short drive into Corralejo, with lovely local restaurants near by, El Horno was one of our favourites. The villa is also a short walk to the most delicious bakers, which we went to every morning!! The villa itself was beautiful, we felt like royalty, WOW, definitely 5 star luxurious accommodation. Very well equipped and clean and the children loved the pool, it was the perfect temperature. Melissa who looks after the villa was very efficient and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I and our two friends had a very relaxing and peaceful stay - the villa is very private and not overlooked, we wished we could've stayed longer. It was wonderful to find such a large villa that comfortably accommodated 6 people, both adults and children. We found three beautiful beaches just a short drive away, El Cotillo was our favourite and the sand dunes were breathtaking. We will definitely be booking again for our third time!

Villa de Cubas is fantastic.

The villa is excellent. It is spacious and well proportioned. Some of the facilities are not quite 5 star; there is no hot water feed in the kitchen, and on most days only two bathrooms near the solar panels got hot water. So cold showers or share the upstairs bathroom. The gas hob is very temperamental and doesn’t give a lot of heat. Bedding is frugal and it got quite cold. However, the response of the local representative was excellent. She was always happy to help, no matter when you asked. This is our second visit, and despite the niggles, we loved it for our extended family holiday. We would happily go back.

Not as peaceful as we had expected/hoped for...

We stayed at Villa de Cubas for seven days (March 13-20 2019) & was generally a wonderful experience. The villa is very spacious, spotless & well appointed. Unfortunately, the pool rapidly cooled down & was not heated (mains power back-up) for two-three days out of the seven days we had requested during our stay. Also, to the front of Villa de Cubas there is currently another villa being built approximately 100 metres away (building site) Thankfully, this is a temporary glitch, however, we do think prospective renters should be informed. Approximately 100 metres to the rear of the property there is also hunting dog kennels & frequently throughout our stay dogs can be heard barking continuously which impacts on the enjoyment of the fabulous pool side area. We highlighted to the housekeeper that the lighting to the front elevation of the property was not working & a blocked poolside shower drain, unfortunately, no maintenance/fix was forthcoming. There is no SKY TV & no hot water feed to the kitchen sink. Also, & just a suggestion, a maids visit midweek would have been greatly appreciated just to change the laundry & refresh the villa a little. The villa is situated in the village of Villaverde which has three wonderful tavernas/restaurants. Near by, is another quaint little village of Lajares & a few kilometres further north is the commercial/tourist centre of Corralejo-a 'mekka' for some 'Brits abroad'!

Fantastic Villa

We were a three generations party of nine who had an amazing holiday in this outstanding villa. There was plenty of space and everything you needed for a perfect holiday. The pool and outside area got plenty of use by us all! The location was perfect for exploring and had a nice local traditional feel, we can highly recommend the local bakery. We would not hesitate to return.
