Very noisy and difficult sleeping. AC unit was leaking puddles of water. Shower head needs to be replaced. Plus side: very nice employees, incredible location and view.

Booked me into a room that has not been cleaned. The replacement room was not properly equipped and was weirdly like an add for some surf shorts company (there were 10 ads in the room as of they were art). Hallways smell musty. No hand soap in the bathroom.

This was certainly a nice spot to stay that was fairly close to shopping and restaurants and easy access to the downtown area as well as a beautiful and natural beach area. My only problem was that it was a little noisy and that's partly to do with the age of the building. The staff was great and moved me to another room that was much more quiet and enjoyable.

My stay at La Casa del Camino was ok, i didn’t enjoy it to the fullest like i thought i would. USB outlets weren’t working I couldn’t charge my phone through the night and I had his own the next day. The Internet also wasn’t working; the access kept giving error msg. It’s very old style building and so a lot of things where in defect like the bathroom, for example, was unusually colder than the rest of the room. They didn’t have an installed heater rather a portable heater that wasn’t really effective. The shower water wasn’t all that hot. And if neighbors close the door or stomped on the floor, you would hear it immediately; the walls are thin!!

The location is incredible, the views breathtaking and the building amazing, however the standout of the trip was the front desk worker Ivano - i had originally only booked for 2 nights. Due to his exceptional service and help, where he went above and beyond any expectations one could have, i ended extending an entire week longer and i am still here! Thank you Ivano and I hope management sees this and appreciates you the way you deserve (I literally this morning was waiting in line to talk with another person working there and heard a lady saying how wonderful Ivano had been to HER as well!!) Kindness when it is not deliberately visible simply must be acknowledged!

A bit old & run down but very clean & great area of Laguna beach. Close & walking distance to many shops & restaurants. My room had a pickaboo view of the ocean but walking distance to the ocean is few steps. Didn’t try the roof top restaurant so can’t comment on it. I would recommend the facility to clean the windows & definitely change the blinds. Overall a good place with modest price to stay.

Not the best experience, keep looking.

Loud construction beginning at 7:30am, couples fighting at 5am, only source of heat was a space heater, sink was separate from bathroom, room was tiny, paint peeling off the walls, only place to put clothes was an old wooden closet that smelled weird, bellman took bags to wrong room. Seems like everything that could go wrong did. Very thin walls and you can hear people on the street outside talking clearly, lots of road noise due to old cheap windows that are warped and don’t close all the way. The positive reviews are obviously manipulated.
