The place was beautiful and had the island vibe going. We loved napping in the hammocks.
The staff were plentiful and very nice.
The room was clean and spacious. The balcony was nice, but we didn't use it much due to the mosquitos.
The hotel is a green hotel and runs on solar panels. Due to this there were frequent power issues. We only lost power once for a few minutes during the day, but every night the lights in the main areas and our room would pulse. We got used to it in the main areas, but not in our room, as it was very noticeable in a smaller space. The hot water in our shower would also run out if we didn't rush through in the evening. We did the tinas baths, but chose to do them in the evening. We were expecting hot salt baths, but the water was lukewarm. When asked about this staff then informed us of the hot water issues due to being solar-powered and it being the evening. If we would have known this ahead of time we would not have booked the service, even though the rest of it (small bites & champagne) was enjoyable.
The location was nice and out of the way, so quiet. Gated parking was appreciated.
