Getting to & Around Puerto Rico

You’ll likely fly into Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU), where you can pick up one of the local car hires (which you can book ahead of time with Wotif—hint, hint!) or other method of transport. Old San Juan is a walking tourist's dream, but if you need a break, free trolley service is available during the day. One of Wotif’s car hires will provide the most freedom, though driving is on the right-hand side of the road and signs are in Spanish. In Puerto Rico's capital, San Juan, you'll find plenty of taxis and public buses (publicos), as long as you don't mind taking your time. For a faster option, hop on the city's train, Tren Urbano.
