As many state, beautiful setting on a steep slope with view of Tea Island, and just outside the village. Very convenient. Property is steep so parking and pulling in out is not for the timid. Our room was stylish and spacious. We found the beds too firm and the bathroom sink did not have drain cover so anything could fall into (the vanity itself had seen better days). Water pressure was also on the low side.

The staff was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, as well as the entire resort. Great view from our porch. Was really nice to have kayaks, canoes, & paddle boards to use. The lake was beautiful. We had a great time.

The property is well kept and I enjoyed the beach and the kayaks. I was however, a bit disappointed with the lack of room service over the course of my 3 day stay. Would have been nice to have my room cleaned/turned over (waste bins emptied, beds made, towels replenished, etc.

Nice place, just a bad week to visit.

We received a phone call on Tuesday confirming our reservation, was asked what time we’d arrive so the room would be ready, which is great, but we arrived and there was a line of dump trucks and excavators tearing up the parking lot. When I walked in, I was asked by the male at the desk if I’d been made aware of the problem, I said No, but it would have been nice. So, apparently they blew a septic line, and it was in the midst of getting repaired, I was told it would be done Wednesday, it wasn’t, it wasn’t done till Friday, so it was really loud for most of the day. The room overall was clean and smelled clean, the only issue was the beds were really uncomfortable, the faucet in the bathroom wasn’t attached to the counter and the exhaust fan was really dirty. When I talked to the lady about the work being done outside she appeared to be annoyed because I wasn’t the only one complaining, we understand emergencies happen, but a heads up would have been nice cause we’d probably have picked a different place to stay.
